Does this by any chance have an offline mode, most launchers seem to only function in online mode. Looking for just basic offline mode.
And for the zealots who come rushing to respond ,i do own the game, dont play online and have a lan bukkit server for the kids blocked from the net "."
There is a "Test" button in the "Setup" screen that is offline play. And don't worry as that's all I play. I have my own reasons but I do actually own the game too....lol

You will not touch my jar file. I repeat, you WILL NOT touch my jar file!Keep it simple and use MagicLauncher
Oh, I assumed that meant it wouldn't work and so I didn't test it! Haha, good to know, thank you!
That answer of yours in the FAQ is a little tough to understand, so I wrote something a bit more newbie friendly if you'd like to use or edit it:
Mods that have the status "No Mods Found" may work perfectly fine. However, if your mod isn't loading, it probably needs to be repackaged. Any files that are supposed to be added to the Minecraft Jar need to be put in their own zip-- A lot of mods have a folder called something like "Put this in the Jar". This is the zip you should put into Magic Launcher. The rest of the files, in the original zip, should be placed in your Minecraft "mods" folder.
I was trying to install Chicken_Bone's codechickencore through Magic Launcher and I asked him/her if it was possible and i was told Magic Launcher needed to work with core mods for that to be possible and today I noticed there was a coremods folder in my .minecraft so does that mean it is possible to install it? and if so can someone tell me how?
I cant get optifine light to work, if you need it heres my log, but before that,If you have forge, its supossed to have errors right?
If its a simple mistake, im not good with mods.
OptiFine Lite is not compatible with any mod loaders. Download the Ultra edition as it gives many ways to tweak it.

Just add it to the list. Even though it says no mods found it loads up fine. Be sure to check the ingame Mods menu because ML hasn't been fully updated to say it's found, it's just superficial.
I started getting this error whenever i click any buttons on the magic launcher (setup, add, remove, the arrow keys, ect) I started getting the error in 9.8 but it is still happening in 9.9.
Edit Also my minecraft won't load it crashes and this is on many presets that have no errors.
Hello sp614x, can you improve the performance for the fps?
My computer lags at 12fps. Optifine at the max performance.
Computer specs:
Intel i5 2400 MHz
Nvidia GeForce graphics card
Windows 7
8GB Ram ( i used 1024 MB ram )
Asus n53sv ( i set the performance to the Max of the Max )
Um. How is a launcher supposed to help? Download Optifine, it really helps. That's all I have to say.

Interesting. Try downloading a version other than the .jar? .app for MAC (and possibly Linux, I know next to nothing about Linux) and .exe for Windows?
Let’s play good guys against bad guys… Yes. Let’s play that. Are you ready? You’re the bad guy. And when you’re bad, you just run. That’s fine right? Well… Shall we play?
I love the launcher, and I've been using it for a while, but now MC keeps crashing whenever I try to load up any world or try to log on to any server. Here's the crash report for when I tried to log on to one of my single player worlds:

If someone could please give me some help, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.
First off, awesome tool - makes playing with snapshots/mods a breeze.
Second, would it be possible for different configs to remember its own texture pack to use? One way of doing this is to change the "skin:{textpack name}" option in .minecraft\options.txt file before launch.
Can't wait for the Update feature (but only on Default config maybe).

I downloaded this to increase the allocated RAM to Minecraft, but it won't allow me to do it, because it's says it goes over the maximum allowed RAM or something of the sort.
Does anyone know what the problem is and how to solve it? I only have 1 Gb RAM allocated at the moment

I know there isn't a 'visual' way to use coremods in ML (They still load when they are in the folder though). I just wanted to point out that coremods loaded while using ML, their corresponding config files do not get loaded. Which is why NEI does not work with ML at the moment due to the config file.
