And why is your md5 checksum for some version other than 1.4.7? You can get old versions from minecraft.net... but why does it fail with wrong checksum?
EDIT: Please update checksums and patches to 1.4.7. The checksum is for 1.4.6.
The problem is, of course, that MCNostalgia hasn't updated to 1.4.7. It's still the 1.4.6 version... that's why it's failing for those trying to use it with the current version of the client.
I don't know if SonicRules is even ~aware~ of an update to the client, given that it's been ~three months~ since he was last active on the forum. So, you have two choices... use that client downloader thing that Curse and Mojang partnered up to make, or find the direct downloads from the official site, like most people do.
i keep getting an error that says my md5 is wrong and no matter what i do it wont work
Try assets.minecraft.net and ask yourself where you think the jar for 1.4.6 is, and put it in .minecraft Sonicrules needs to update his patches, so meh. I don't think I can directly link it due to forum rules. Will try to generate patch from 1.4.7 to 1.4.6.
Where does MCnostalgia get the 48677... md5 checksum for 1.4.6? If sonicrules is really annoying, he's storing it on his server, and I can't do anything about it short of changing the source code to not use his server, or not do the md5 check . I haz a patch from 1.4.7 to 1.4.6, but it isn't of much use until I can circumvent the md5 check. Will continue breaking messing with MCnostalgia tomorrow.
I think there is a bug with it finding the md5 because it says that the md5 is not vanilla. I didn't download any mods, it just won't let me downgrade no matter what I do. Oh wait it's still 1.4.6 xD I'm a noob.
