Hmm... whenever I try to use the MCNostalgia 2.1.0, it says "Thank you, we're now patching to b1.8.1" then suddenly more text appears and it says there was an error. It cannot create a file that already exists. Then it informs me where b1.8.1 already exists, and it says it's in the patches folder. It's there because I just used the MCNostalgia, not because it was there before. The MCNostalgia has not downgraded my Minecraft. Yes, my minecraft folder is stripped of everything but what is downloaded when I log into Minecraft.
Help?
EDIT: Nevermind, I fixed it instantly. I copied the MCNostalgia folder's contents and placed it in a new folder. It then worked.
Really awesome tool, use it a lot. One day, I had WAY to much free time on my hands and I tested every backdate (yes, all 88). And I found a few problems. Here's what I found:
a1.1.2(#12) crashes
#13 is a1.2.0_02(#16) not a1.2.0
#17 is a1.2.1_01(#18) not a1.2.1
1.0(#71) is giving a false error about having a vanilla minecraft or not
#76 is 11w49a(#75) not 11w50a
#86 is 1.2 not 1.2_pre
How do I do this on Ubuntu 11.10? Whenever I press enter, it prints an error:

I am connected to the internet when running it
Edit: Found it out
Just to let you know, I include the source code to the program inside the zip file. Go ahead and check the source, you will find no viruses.
It's probably just adf.ly, and like other people have said, the problem is gone now
I really don't need it now anyway since Buxville updated. B j

If you were planning on pissing me off then you already have by reading this.
Guys! It all says domain expired. But don't worry! I have the program on my computer and I uploaded it to Mediafire for you. Link Removed
It's not a virus Straight from my computer! + my reply to say that it works!

While that's a very nice thing for you to do, you seem to of uploaded just the shortcut to it
When I download it just gives me a class file I cant open!
I am on Windows 7 and is this download for mac?
That's not a class file, its a windows shortcut file, they uploaded the shortcut, probably from their desktop, thinking that it was the actual file instead of just a link to the actual file.
someone save us. i think i have an old version somewhere on my computer, does anyone want me to try and find it? it'd be old, like 1.0 old, so you'd have to find your old 1.0 jars to use it. and i only THINK i do, i'm not sure.
