Read the previous page =) A couple lovely people put instructions - either that or wait for the 1.6 version (again, read previous page, it's being worked on)
Having problems opening AMIDST. It won't even run. It just spits out on an error window "The operation couldn't be completed. (OSStatus error -67049)
Clean jar file, still using 1.5.2, Mac with Intel CPU, OS 10.8.2.
Not sure where to find java version though its either 6 or 7 will run depending on 32bit or 64 bit. I ran it in both, neither worked.
Anyone able to help me out with this? I have tried and installed a completely clean minecraft folder and it still wont work and gives the same error. Also, I cant run the jar file from terminal even though I have it where I usually launch things from terminal.

I only did a tiny bit of searching, but it seems like it has something to do with Gatekeeper, which apparently manages security for Mac OS X (Mountain Lion).
I'm not sure how to disable it, or why this would be causing an issue-- and unfortunately, do not have time to check right now
Hopefully you manage to get it resolved.
In other news:
Selectable icons now completed for the new map, I'm hoping to get the update out in a day or so.
Would anyone be interested in a quick test of the next AMIDST version? I'm not sure how it will work for others. There's also still a few features missing.
I would be willing to test, Skidoodle. Really like the program and can't wait.
Me too!

If you aren't part of the solution, then you obviously weren't properly dissolved.
I probably should have just asked for a PM. My response time on thread messages is awful. Oh well, hopefully one of you got a message and will reply to it. I just need one person.
Wow, I havn't been to this thread since it was stronghold finder for 1.8.1. I needed to find a stronghold for a friend on his server and I'm glad to see that this project didn't die like some I've projects I've seen.
WAY back when, there was a little bit of talk about a random seed menu option and shortcut. (http://www.minecraft...0#entry17612349) Is there any chance this feature will be added?
Yeah, that seems pretty easy. I'll throw that in right now. It'll be in the next update.
I had thought it odd that entering 0 (zero) as a seed ACTUALLY got you the 0 seed world.
Without having to enter "pollinating sandboxes" or "grinnerslaphappier.org" as a seed to get that world.

I always thought the actual zero seed was impossible to get in game (if you type the number zero (0) as a seed, the actual seed it uses will not be zero, or at least last I tried it). The only way to get that seed was to edit the level.dat file. That may have changed, I haven't tried it in a long time.

Just found out about your program today, tried it and it works great, thanks!
Also my 2 cents, maybe adding a section bellow the pie with a quick jump to the different locations(like a list to click on), instead of having to drag the map around? Just a thought
Super exciting! Good luck on the update, I'm looking forward to it. Your work is very much appreciated.
You don't. Point it to the 1.5.2 .jar file instead. The terrain generation is exactly the same between 1.5 and 1.6.

But kudos to you for this great tool!
