I'll make some new tutorials soon.
Sometime I'll add fuel, I just need to look how how it works and stuff.
Flowers are coming! :biggrin.gif: Flowers are fairly easy to add, so I'll get them in an update soon
why does it say weapons in the title? is that the sword because that is included in the tool set. I thought it meant you could just have one class. hey can you have a option to only make a sword or a pickaxe? Like a option to only have certain tools in a tool set?
I've been following the tutorials, and when I recompile the game, it gives me 4 modloader errors. In the video, you say this is normal. So i just closed them. then, when I run the startclient.bat, it gives an error: Error: Could not find or load main class start...
please help!
=EDIT=
Figured it out, I had accdientally used a modded jar

great, my project needs them :biggrin.gif:
I'm basically adding a bunch of real world stuff: more flowers, more crops, more minerals and stones[Like marble, granite, shale(as a stone, obviously), igneous rock, and things like that) fossil rocks (:biggrin.gif:), fulgurite (natural melted glass that is found after lightning hits dirt or sand, and it comes in a HUGE array of colors. i plan to make it really rare)) more cotton colors, more tool types, more foods, more types of chests, more bed recolors... basically, it's anything i can think of. :biggrin.gif:
Anyway, i don't think i saw a level option in the block maker for what level it's usually found on, are you planning to add one?

Oh, i also wanted to know if you were planning to raise the block id limit? Because i've seen other mod makers that have a much higher number then 255.
@TrinityGamer
Sounds like you have an awesome plan setup! Can't wait to see what you make of it!
You are going to need to do a bit of custom coding if you are wanting to use blocks with data values on the recipes I think.
There is not a way to go higher than 255 without the use of a "more ids" mod, I think McForge also does this. But McModGen is currently ModLoader mods only.
Hope you enjoy, if you have anymore questions feel free to ask,

MCP is about as easy as you can find. Sorry! There are a lot of tutorials for it on youtube that you can check out.

umm, can u or someone else mcp my mod, cuz the mcp doesn't seem to work on my computer and/or i cant figure out how to do any of the prerequisites.or could u or sum1 else do a tutorial 4 me?

it's mostly to do with setting up the path n stuff
Suggestions:
Toolset should have a tooltip.
Half-slabs, and a checkbox to indicate whether block is a half-slab.
A 'fuel' function. Values to indicate number of items it can smelt. 0 to indicate item is not fuel.
Checkbox to indicate whether block is flammable or not.
Wider range of selection for blast resistance.
Maybe replace item/block selection with block or item ID because no one knows whether the block name was typed correctly.
Armor.
If you think some of the suggestions are too difficult to carry out or are implemented already, please ignore it. I hope you can consider these suggestions nevertheless
BTW, what does Tool Damage mean?

Speaking of plants, will we ever be able to make different shapes of plants, like reeds and flowers instead of just wheat?
