You are going to need tp copmpile it yourself with MCP and you can find some help on textures really easy by clicking the question mark next to the texture field.
....um, I cant log in.... it just says Username or Password Incorrect! I am using the right username and password, and when i try to reset the password, i get no e-mail. Help? IGN:Bat123

This is not a downloadable application, it is a web-based mod development enviorment. There are other applications out there that you can download and use.
I'm working on getting the registration and login working, it takes time and work has been really busy lately, but I'm doing my best to make time to work on this.
Also, I'm working on a new update that will include several major changes.
This will probably be my last post until the update. I just wanted to let everyone know that I have not abandoned this project. I have already spent over 20 hours this week getting the next update ready. It's almost done! I'm super excited to show you guys what I've done and how it has been changed in this next version!
@Dafaria
I'm not entirely sure. I'm VERY stuck on updating plants right now. I might temporarily remove them in order to get an update out. It's just so maddening!
@Aeropulse
You'll have to do manual coding in order to use models. Sorry
Updated to 1.5.
McModGen has been updated to Minecraft 1.5.2! This new version changes lot of the program, however you should still be able to download your mod how it currently is and compile it. The main change has been to the new texture system. Instead of having to define where and what your textures are named Minecraft will automatically use the name of the item/block for the name of the texture file.
I hope you enjoy.
It is important to note that this is most likely the last update of this version of McModGen. What will be coming next is McModGen 1.0. This will be a major rewrite of lots of the program, however, as always I will attempt to make it so that your update to the new version will be seamless!
This program is fantastic, Nikc-Nack! Not only can I eat Sausage Biscuits in Minecraft now, but I can also craft cheese weaponry & armory. I'm sure you'll find ways to make McModGen even better in the future! Cheers!
Thanks!
Trust me, there is A LOT that is coming around the bend here! Version 1.0 is a near total rewrite of the site and I think it is going to blow people away at how easy they will be able to create their mods
Hmm. It seems like you are on to something here. I can't tell you the amount of times I wanted to make a a mod, but couldn't because of my lack of knowledge in the coding field. However, with this it is all made possible!
I would love to see the gui improved though. It's very straight forward, but for people who aren't affiliated so much with computers they will inevitably make a mistake. That's the only thing I would want to see in the near future of McModGen that I think you could really improve on. Other than that it deserves a 5/5!
Thanks BiscuitBoy!
The GUI is going through a massive remake (as is the rest of the site) for the upcoming Version 1.0. This will be the first "full" release of McModGen and will contain massive changes and new additions to make Minecraft modding easier than it ever has been before.
Thanks!
........
I'll try to get some new stuff out soon, sorry for how slow things have been!
So you can respond to a four word feedback post but not respond to the problem everyone has been having with logging in?
Coding takes time >_>
Whenever I try to register it says something about the page not being accessible. Not sure if its related to the login or not...

Currently, you cannot. In the future I might look into this
@trickzterz
I'm working on a major 1.5.2 update right now which fixes lots of bugs. Glad you like it!
And if it doesn't, will you add that?
