can someone help
when i open mc serversoft a message comes up saying that an unhandeled exeption has occured. The system cannot find the sepicified file
...
when i continue it opens but i think this has something to do with the probem
The it will not let me press update even though i followed the instructions. Finally it says when it force starts
error occured during initialization of UM
Could not reserve enough memory space
Could not create the java virtual engine
program will exit
Can anybody help and give me a fix because this happened to my friend as well when he was starting the server(which was then dumped on me) we used extreme and plus versions
Could you give some more information like; a screenshot of the error, how much ram you have installed on your computer, which amount of ram you launch the server with and if you have tried to re-install MCSS?
my freind
intel i7 overclocked 2.00ghz 4 core
6gb ram
Lower your ram setting in the control panel, if that doesn't work. Close some unnecessary programs because your server can't allocate enough ram. If you want host a server on that on a computer with 3 GB of ram then I think you need the "Standard Edition".
You friend however can use the "plus edition", and should be able to run the server on 3 or 4 GB.
You should always have some ram left for your operating system and programs otherwise you get a BSOD and your computer will crash.
And if have error again could you give me than this information (showed on the image below.)
The error is caused because it can't find Java. Make sure you have the latest version of Java 7. If your running a 64-bit machine then you'll need to download the 64-bit version as well.
hey, im having some trouble updating the bukkit jar, whenever i try to update through the program... well i just cant
the update and backup server button seem to be unclickable. Although at one point it was clickable but then it crashed, did some reinstalling and now i cant click it
Does this program need updating with every CraftBukkit build?
It looks great - you seem to have put in a lot of hard work to get it going and I look forward to trying it
Thanks

Bukkit Plugins on Github
It's gonna look even better in MCSS 7 !
No. For your server to be 24/7 you'll need to keep it on all the time. Basically, you can't shut your computer off and/or stop your server.
Yes, it does. It's exactly like you would normally have it in a CMD Window.
Well I'm focussing on getting MCSS 7 out, but that could take maybe another week or so ....
But what you could do is.
Download the latest bukkit build from http://dl.bukkit.org and rename that file like the same file
that's in the MCSS folder and replace it.
After this is done, your server will be running the latest version!
