I patched Minecraft to a1.2.6, but after I forced updated to use a different version on MC, the patcher keeps saying "patch unsucessful". I really want to play alpha-beta minecrafts, but it just won't work. Please help.
EDIT: Re-extracted the .zip file for MCD, and used the manual install folder to downgrade, prolme might not be solved though...
It's more than likely a corrupted patch upload. I'll re-upload the patch if they are not the same.
I can't get the patcher to work.
Every time I tried to patch Minecraft, indev-2-23-10 and alpha 1.0 11 to be exact I get the message 'Patch was unsuccessful'.
I've tried patching the manual way but WinRAR doesn't let me extract the patch folder because 'The archive is either in unknown format or damaged'.
I am using this and it's great, only problem is the sounds aren't also changed? As far as I know, Beta 1.2_02 had the original door and chest sounds. Now chests are silent and doors have the updated sound.

Downloads Indev. Waits Ten Millenniums. "Patch Download has failed! Please Check the log!" Comes up.
Me: I downloaded crap?? DOUBLE FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU *flips desk*
I'm getting the same issue where it just says "Patch was unsuccessful." It downloads the patch file correctly, just won't patch it though. I tried several things to try to fix it. I even moved it to the .minecraft bin. I'm just gonna move it back and wait for a reply on how to fix this.
EDIT: I found out how to fix it. For anyone having this issue, try to download the patches manually from the link that was provided. Put one of those in the same folder as your MCDowngrader.jar and open up MC downgrader. DO NOT download anything, just click patch. This worked for me! This is great!
So I downloaded this today really wanting to go back and play in Beta 1.5, so I follow the instructions and do everything the way it's done in the tutorial. I select the version I want to play, click download, and then click hit patch. But as soon as I hit patch, it comes up with an error saying "Patch was unsuccessful." So I went into the log and it read "[2013/02/17 23:04:05]: Send this to 68x: java.util.zip.ZipException: invalid code lengths set" I tried everything I know how to do and could not find anybody with help.
I realize it's probably a really simple fix, but some help would really be appreciated.
Nice idea! I plan to download, but your site after adf.ly is down. PLEASE fix it soon. Also, does this downgrade every feature? Because some Beta ,Alpha, etc JARs don't have the old sounds and a ton of other crap is wrong with them.

When life gives you a potato, wonder why the heck life just gave you a potato. Why not something else? Like money? Or a combustable lemon? No, you get a potato. Nothing else.

So is there some way to fix this?
Thanks for helping.
Edit:
Patches should now be working properly.
