Oh, @Sade1212! Thank you! :smile.gif: Sorry, no HD textures in 0.9... I think it will need hardware acceleration. Maybe it will be in the extended version.
In Minecraft 1.8 Notch added FOV slider. What do you think about something similar in Minecraft Skin Viewer? :smile.gif:
Although this has already came up, Do you ever plan to release the source officially, there is disassembling it but that just seems like cheating. next, if you do not decide to release the source, would it be possible to made an XNA component for the Model Viewing? that would be amazing. thanks in advance :happy.gif:

I think you have affine texture mapping there which sort of ruins it
Also there's not much reason to have a FOV slider as it's just a model rendering application
How did you implement anti aliasing? Back when I used .NET I would double the resolution and shrink it down using MS's interpolation method, do you do the same or do it through pixel blending during the render process?
I already sent you a PM, I would like to work with you on a C++ rendering program that's native without the need of .NET (No hardware acceleration though, I'm guessing the only reason you don't use it is because you don't yet know how, that's why I don't anyway).
My rendering program can do this http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f81/xilefian/726swimmer.png but it's missing a UI and is terrible to control, how did you do mouse input? Did you produce a second render with colours and checked for mouse inputs over those specific colours?
The FOV slider won't be added as I showed. It will be in 'settings window' or something. I just want to add the ability to switch between perspective and isometric projection.
I think double resolution is not enough to achieve nice looking antialiased image. I render it in much bigger size... :wink.gif:
You're wrong. :tongue.gif: I made a simple game in OpenGL and an application in XNA (http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLB549EA2C35342EE5&feature=viewall). It's not big deal but I know how to use it. :wink.gif: The reason I don't use hardware acceleration is that it's not needed and it's too heavy for such little application. Minecraft Skin Viewer must be light and should not use GPU when you play Minecraft. That's why I don't use hardware acceleration there. But I think I'll use it in extended version beacuse of HD textures and more...
Pocessing mouse input in .NET controls is quite easy. I use Region class, which has a methond called IsVisible(Point) - returns true, when mouse cursor is inside. :wink.gif:
Is it possible to add elbows and knees to the character?
Thank you for this, it has helped me GREATLY in making skins. I also run an HD texture pack, so I can't wait for the HD support. More mob models in the extended version would be great too, but great work!
Finally! :biggrin.gif:

You are a good programmer, I guess!? :ohmy.gif:
Awesome programm!

The only thing - it looks like antialiasing doesn't work... =(
can you release the (source of) the 3d engine?
are you saying you will eventually? yay!
