Question... I have some pics I'd like to post of a project I've been working on using the planner, but I don't want to clutter the page with a bunch of pics. So how do I put them behind that "spoiler" thing to make it so you have to click that to see the pics?

You put it inside a "[ spoiler ]" and "[ /spoiler ]" block
Okay, anyway... So I've been working on this project on the server I play on for awhile now and it has been quite a challenge so far mainly just getting it to work in the blocky minecraft world. The planner has been a major help though since its all on a nice easy grid, so getting everything spaced right was a lot easier done than doing it by eye in-game. This is still a work in progress and is no where near done, so the pics I have are just of a few sections that are mostly done that I feel haven't turned out too bad so far. I hope at least someone can instantly recognize what it is, lol.
The Main Foyer
Small art room just off to the right of the Main Foyer. Not sure what I want to use for the statue that holds the first floor map that's supposed to be in the middle of the room.
Good Ol' Barry Lol
Right Wing Storage Room
Left Wing Storage Room (where you find the broken shotgun)
Drug Room
Well, that's it for now. This Mansion as anyone who would know knows that it is enormous. I have all, or a majority, of the main wall structure up for the Mansion itself, so all I need to do is fill in the walls, complete the rooms, and decorate. Then I'll try and get fancy with redstone and add in some of the puzzles from the game, or at least make them in a way that works for minecraft. After that I intend on doing the rest of the entire Arklay Research Facility including the Courtyard, the Residence, Lisa Trevor's Cabin, and all of the underground Labs. I love the Resident Evil games so working on this project is quite fun and exciting to me as challenging as it may be, but I want to thank Lanky though for the planner cause its been a huge help and time saver.
By the way, guess what game is supposed to be coming to the xbox 360? Minecraft! lol That should be interesting.
I have a question...
Is there a way I could replace the textures with the colour map colors, that are in Millenaire?
I'd like to be able to make something in this, and then screenshot each level to make into a .png, and have it work in Millenaire.
Thanks for the response in advance. :smile.gif:

Custom texture support will be coming in a future version.
Might have missed this somewhere previously, but any plans to have tracks and redstone appear on the plans? I opened a schematic for a mine cart station in planner, hoping to make a layer image to help me build but redstone, redstone torches and tracks don't show up unfortunately (unless there's an on/off option somewhere?).

To be honest the interior stuff like tracks/torches/redstone etc hasn't really been the focus of the planner so far. It's more about the buildings/bridges etc. I might get around to it eventually, but it's not a high priority.
I need some beta testers to check out the latest version of the application. Specifically I need people to cover the five supported Operating Systems: Windows32, Windows64, Linux32, Linux64 and MacOSX. You'll need to uninstall Java3D before you can run the new version of the code.
Let me know if you're interested.
Cheers,
LankyBrit.

I find it rather confusing that the freeform structure mode creates a layer that you can't manipulate in addition to the amount of layers you specified.
It doesn't on mine? Could you send a screenshot of what you're seeing?
Created built-in application launcher to determine machine type and load correct Java-3D libraries. Separate Java-3D installation is now not necessary.
Re-wrote Java-3D object model code to allow for models other than simple blocks.
Optimized Java-3D model representation. Now uses 25% less memory.
Optimized model re-texturing.
Implemented back face culling for faster rendering.
Increased threading on Java-3D model display to make application more responsive during 3D rendering.
Added Stair models.
Modified layer and plan views to make half-blocks and stairs visually different from their similarly textured full blocks.

Mac users, this one's for you! Thanks for being so patient. (Windows and Linux users will like this too.)
* Mouse rotate/tilt/zoom controls now work across all platforms. Left-click plus mouse drag will rotate and tilt your 3D model (keyboard equivalent is the cursor keys.) Scroll wheel will zoom your 3D model (keyboard equivalent is shift plus cursor keys.) And there was much rejoicing
* Fixed bug when saving a pre-generated design with no selected texture.
Ah what the heck. I had a little time before bed so I added multi-monitor support in too. You can now move the Structure Planner onto any monitor you want and use it without error.
Added a 'magic slider' to the right of the 3D display. Give it a try - I think you'll like it, and it's really useful for checking your build progress!
Does the program run if you have the Java3D libraries installed? Or do you need to remove them? It wasn't specifically mentioned in the release notes and you mentioned ealier for the test version that they needed to be uninstalled. Does the release version work if they are installed?
Lol Nice

EDIT: I'm running Mac OS 10.5.8.
You can't zoom on Mac OSX yet - Java3D is broken. I'm trying to find a fix for it.
