I absolutely love this generator. It makes really beautiful realistic forests - extra choice with fog ON. Wish it had a detailed option set like Planetoids.
Also is there actually any stone in this map? I basically want the forest surface, but regular minerals and dungeons underground. In fact, it would be rad if there were random ruins and dungeons around and under the surface!!!
my computer has a hard time copying big files, if i put the gzip and map generator all in the saves folder would it generate it right into the saves folder?...or just fail...or mess up my saves...?

LOLOLOL = LAUGH-OUT-LOUD-OUT-LOUD-OUT-LOUD...it just doesn't work...
I really liked this generator once i figured out how to work it but i have one problem. Theres nothing but dirt, sand, water, air,wood and leaves.
I dug all the way down to abmium and found nothing bu dirt. It be nice if there was rock and stuff under the dirt, maybe model it on the forests around the Canadian shield which has lots of minerals that can be used like gold and such. It might also be nice if the generator could include a few huge red woods that you can tunnle into and use it to make a tree tower :3

Its the little details that make up the big picture.
for me it crashes every time i get to "saving map 0%"
i realise i need to use the gzip for something but i have no idea what it is, what it does, or how to use it

For a second there i thought you bored me to death.
The download includes gzip.exe. You need to have it in the same folder as the generator when you run it, so it can use it to compress the files once it's written them. It should just work, unless you're trying to run it from inside a compressed folder or have somehow separated the .exe from gzip.

yeah i put it in the same folder, map generator still crashes everytime i try to use it
EDIT: ok i got it fixed. the problem was that you need to have the map generator in one folder. in the same folder has to be another folder, and THAT folder has to have the gzip in it. i had the gzip exe right beside the map generator before, so that was my problem. if the explanation is confusing to anybody else, sorry, i couldnt figure out a better way to put it

If you're on Windows, hit WIN + R to open the "Run" dialogue box. Then type %appdata% and press enter. That folder contains the .minecraft folder.
if possible thanks :smile.gif:
