On a more serious note, good job this is outstanding work. I'm sure notch will be contacting you about it at some point.. Maybe he'll implement it into the game somehow and save himeself a lot of work. Good job.
I'll download it when it gets in-depth redstone tutorials and a "Share screen" button in the chat. :tongue.gif: It's off to a great start. I'll definitely recommend this to people I introduce!
this would have been really helpful when starting out.
for the first few days i played minecraft i thought the hoe was an axe. kept wondering why my 'axe' never lost its durability when i was beating down trees with it.

For as long as the grass grows
For as long as the stream flows
And the sun shines down unto us
Only they who walk the clouds know
For how long the winds blow
And the sky is blue above us
This looks very interesting, I do have a couple of questions before I can do anything though:
a) From where is data gathered, is it automatically taken from the wiki or is it manual?
:cool.gif: If it's the latter, how often do you intend on updating and will it be automatic or will the user need to redownload?

a) this is offline-online program - all data already in program, you can run it without connection and see articles but you can't login to chat, see news at top and see list of actual game servers (not yet ready)
:cool.gif: there is update system inside (button "update" on main screen), we are planning to release melting craft, blocks and gameplay on this week

can you confirm whether or not the content here is taken from the wiki?
can you confirm whether or not the content here is taken from the wiki?
yes, some of images and info for beta was took from Minecraftwiki - i wrote in program about it (about menu)
and on Wiki in Kubik article. but this info in program, no need connect to net
if you make here forum for Kubik - i will add link to program too
Well, as long as you've cached it in the program/on your servers instead of sucking it down from the wiki server every time, I see no problem with that - we just want to make sure that people aren't going to start using up wiki bandwidth without adverts/some other form of renumeration, since the ads on the wiki are a major contributor to our hosting costs!
yeap, this program is not wiki; main goal: overlay encyclo - to use offline
I have just downloaded Kubik and people are talking about chat and stuff. I got some questions.
1-Is chat working yet?
2-If chat is working, when I press the update button it says there are no new updates. Do I have to redownload Kubik for chat to work?
