Oh... my... goodness. This is EXACTLY what I was searching for. Thank you! I was beginning to think my world had no dungeons, but now I can see I was wrong. Now I'm going to get back to spelunking.

New file save format has been released, FYI. Hopefully Minutor will have support for it, I hear it's a bit of a hassle to deal with compared to the old format.
If you're compiling Minutor from source, something like `patch -p1 < minutor_1.3.patch` should work... but otherwise, it's more for mrkite77 than for users.
The creator hasn't been to the forums since early February.
Something tells me Minutor is dead...
That would really suck.
Minutor was easy to use and really helpful. Saved me from being afraid of getting lost. Just today I was wandering around down some cave, went up a different exit to the surface and was completely lost. If Minutor was working I could just load up my map and see where I was.
Anyone know another easy to use program like Minutor that works?
If the worst comes to the worst I hope somebody will pick up the torch and at least keep the program updated to comply with the new format and new blocks. Source codes are open after all.
I think we can stick a fork in this one...sadly...
Perhaps it is worth waiting a few days, since the new save files were just released, before assuming the worst outcome? After all, up until release of 1.3, the program was working fine.
i can use minutor but its not loading a large portion of my map, a large square (very large) is blank and says unknown even though its my most popular area.
This thing is epic. I thought I would be annoyed by the lack of an oblique mode but once I wrapped my brain around what I was seeing, it all clicked. Thank you for updating it to 1.3 and keep up the good work!
Great program. I have been watching the repository the last week or so, and was glad to see the release this morning. 1.0 works well on Ubuntu out of the box. Echoing a previous poster let us know if you have a PayPal account and I will shoot some food and beverage money your way.
On a side note I learned to compile from source last night and apply the patches you had posted earlier, but could not get each line of the second patch to take but I was close! Thanks again, great program.

I modified the GTK interface to automatically populate the world list based on the levels present.
How exactly do I apply this patch?

I'm not dead. I feel happy.. I feel happy...
Sorry guys. I really haven't given Minecraft much attention lately (haven't played in over a month).
1.0 is now out and supports the new save format. Thanks for the patches, Ryan.
Jack.
Same here. My world has a big blank white square right in the center, where I need it.

Huzzah! Thank you! I was waiting for this so I could plan my project!
