Forgive me. Sarcasm pointed at the troll seemed safe. It was a point- Anathae made a direct, short, and polite request. That's all that I meant to convey.
I know u dont like server mods, but is there any way I can install this on a bukkit server ? Could someone please look into this ?
My understanding is that Bukkit doesn't function with Runecraft, since you're running an entirely different java file to run the server at that point. That said, you could test it quite easily once the 1.2 update is out from SuperLlama. If Bukkit's .jar file uses the server .jar file, it may function properly. Worst case, you have to restore the minecraft_server.jar file.
I finally have a break from my homework and lectures, so I'm going to try and get it ported. Zeerix already did most of the porting for me last night while I was busy, so it shouldn't take that long. I might try adding some new stuff too.

My ankle's uncle is my uncle's ankle. It's true! My Server Mods: Runecraft SMP Server Mod - java class replacer for SMP which adds magic runes. Llamacraft SMP Server Mod - bucket fix, lava nerf, etc.

Would you consider making a single player version if you were to obtain adequate donations?
Like I've said in the past, it would require a major rewrite of core systems rather than just a port-- singleplayer doesn't have a chat box, for one, nor does it have packets that I can intercept, nor does it have names under which I can save your runes. I'm not going to make one until there's an official API by notch that will remove the obfuscation issues-- at which point it'll be much easier to port to SP.

This might not be the right place to post this but I didn't find any posts of anyone having the same problem I am.
I put the files from the runecraft.rar into the server.jar, however when I try to run the .jar file it opens and then immediately closes.
Yes I have java installed. The .exe works fine however since this wont work with the exe i'm stuck till I can get the .jar to run. I have run basic servers fine, just never tried to run the jar. I even tried running it from command prompt but it does the same thing of opening for a millisecond, not even long enough to read whats in the server console, and then closing as soon as its opens.

It won't work right now whatsoever until an update comes out. Read the posts, not just the description.

Be nice Abikai, it's his first post.
Asai- That problem is the result of using the newest server with the old Runecraft. The updated Runecraft files will be out soon, hopefully. Until then, sit tight. It shouldn't be long. :smile.gif:

Oh I didn't realize how condescending I sounded lol. Sorry about that. I was just trying to give a pointer :happy.gif:
As superllama said in an above post, it won't work with Beta 1.2 until he or zeerix gets a chance to update the code. Patience is key, my friend.
Mk. thanks for letting me know.
Also, if it isn't ready, whats the estimated time until it is?
You are bugging him... and EVERYONE... it will be ready when it's ready... bugger off
Lulz
You don't have to be so rude.
I was just asking because I looked and didn't see any kind of update.

Sarcasm and fawning probably aren't much better.
Fear the night...

Give it a shot!
My Server Mods:

Llamacraft SMP Server Mod - bucket fix, lava nerf, etc.
:biggrin.gif: I can't wait.

Looks to be a pretty good job though. Can't wait to try it out.
