Got it fixed, also added automatic block updater (Help > Check for Updates) in case I'm slow with updates again.
Changes:
[*:3qrgflci] Removed the map indefinitely.
[*:3qrgflci] Added Updater with version checks, block/item updates.
[*:3qrgflci] You can now move around items in inventory by holding right-click and dragging.
[*:3qrgflci] Block/Item list has a search system: Type in an item ID (hex or decimal) or the first few letters of the item in order to search for it by name (case sensitive).
[*:3qrgflci] Added in OpenGL rendering stuff for the currently disabled map.
[*:3qrgflci] Oh, and armor editing.
I would like to request a way to save JUST an inventory file, and be given an option to "Import inventory" when I'm editing a save. I find that I'm using the same inventory setup a lot of the time, and would love to be able to do it quickly :biggrin.gif:
Edit: Also some sort of "Super repair" button, to set damage to -600 with one click would be great~

My MineEdit crashes on startup now. Previous version worked fine until the update.
What kind of error do you get? There should be a button to get more details. Pastebin those details and then PM me with the link. I'm hearing sporadic reports of startup slowdowns, as well.
BTW, changelog:
[*:2rb2hfl3]Inventory editor has pictures and both hex and decimal item IDs in the dropdown control.
[*:2rb2hfl3]Inventory can be saved to a file (and loaded)
[*:2rb2hfl3]All entities can be viewed in a 320x320 area around the player.
[*:2rb2hfl3] Blocks updated (again)
[*:2rb2hfl3] Initial loading of chunks has a new loading dialog
[*:2rb2hfl3] New Super Repair button repairs selected items to -600 damage.
[*:2rb2hfl3] Inventory dropdown has autocomplete enabled (type in a partial item name and it will suggest partial matches)
Nice tool, I must say. Works very simply, you can get stuff done a lot faster than with NBTEdit. Good helpful shortcuts to set the spawn to your location and stuff like that. Keep up the good work.

Hey, try Red Eclipse. It's a free online shooter. It's shweet.
Darn, this doesn't work for me. I can run the program fine, but when I run infdev I just get an error:
Minecraft has crashed!

Notch scrambled his sourcecode (which he should, as Minecraft is a commercial game), so I don't know what's wrong or what errors MineEdit may have caused. You'll have to ask Notch.
Nice touch on the "Loading ****" bar when you actually go to File_Open.
EDIT: Instead of a new post, I'll say here that it would be nice for an option to edit the DeathTime value. Whenever I'm working on something and, say, fall into lava and die, I can still heal myself. But when you go to your inventory on Minecraft, you'll see a corpse laying corpse-like. This is easily fixed in NBTEdit by changing the above value to 0.

Sure. I'll patch that in along with the (tile)entity editors.
Just a few last-minute saving bugs and some warnings to add in.
Nice work there, mate!
I saw this editor before I started working on INVedit but I haven't tried it out yet, wanted it to have as less influence as possible from other inventory editors ^^ But anyway. I downloaded and checked it out just now, and it's pretty nice. I also like the way you're planning to implement (Tile)Entities. The inventory viewer/editor needs a little more work tho, it's hard to use and not that intuitive.
Also, thanks for using my block and item lists for reference *cough*
Thanks, and I credited you for using your site in the Help > About dialog. :tongue.gif:
7/8/2010 Update:
[*:3en6e4lw] Entity and TileEntity Editors have been fixed (mostly) completely and now save whenever you edit something.
[*:3en6e4lw] Notch helped out with block loading, so I got that internally fixed.
[*:3en6e4lw] Chunks are correctly loaded now (More Notch help)
[*:3en6e4lw] Compiled using Release for a hopefully smaller download and faster loading time.
[*:3en6e4lw] Copyboy credited in About dialog.
[*:3en6e4lw] Chunk loading screen provides a few more details and is somewhat more SFW (last title was left at the temporary initial text setting).
[*:3en6e4lw] HurtTime set to 0 on heal to avoid "I've fallen and can't get up" bug. HurtTime also displayed.
I noticed that too. Another small thing, whenever you change the count of something, you have to move the mouse and hit Apply. Quick Enter shortcut instead, maybe?

The Entities and Tile Entities screens aren't working for me. The drop down is blank on both, and the add/remove buttons do nothing. The inventory and player property screens work just fine though.

Fixed, sorry.

Sure @ both.
Also a preview of something I'm working on.

Does this help?
Not really.

[*:1e6ntk2t] Spawner editing
[*:1e6ntk2t] Chest editing
[*:1e6ntk2t] A fixed entity editor
[*:1e6ntk2t] More entity support

How exactly do you change items in chests?
I looked under the "Tile Entities" tab, and it was completely blank. Nothing there to do anything.
