Completely overhauled the way I was passing animation data between Entity and Model classes.
The result is animations now run at the clients FPS rather than at client tick speed. Much smoother looking animations, no jitters at all. Makes the code much more compact and cleaner.
Nothing really to show unless you want to see Eclipse screenshots
The Tatters boss looks really interesting. Are those cloths going to be part of a larger creature? Also giving them a constricting attack would be cool as a bind attack.
Yes, the cloth is just 1 of many strips that will be hanging from the creature. I want them to have a very light and flowing motion as the creature moves about.
I never thought about the creature using the cloth itself as a weapon. It is definitely possible.

Hey maybe after you add the last boss, maybe you can add some bosses from dead mods like the suns son boss or the legendary beasts as like a tribute to those mods that help make bosses big and what they are today
Unfortunately I am not familiar with those, I would need a link, and at least a model class to work from. Inheriting other work is sometimes a lot more problematic than making it yourself. Especially if it doesn't fit with your own artistic style.
I recently went over a model that CoolAlias was given by a fan of his. It probably would have been faster for me to remake the whole thing than to correct what was there already. But it was a gift from a fan so I had to "restore" the model to working function for posterity. Now CoolAlias has it working really well with his own animations.
ANYWAY
I haven't posted an update recently not because I haven't been working on the mod. On the contrary I hit a snag with the Tatters boss and how I want the cloth strips to flow and look. It took me 3 days of playing with different animation styles and trigonometric formulas to get it to function right. I am at work now. But I think I got the formula right. Will test it out tonight and post my results tomorrow morning if it works well.

Started working on the....centipede / spider / big crawly thing.....haven't named it yet
A snipet of code in an old model got me thinking of a new boss.
So I put together a few tests.
Then I couldn't stop thinking about it till I got the math and functions right. Which, to my wife's dismay, took 7 hours. But I got it in the end.
I'm gonna give it a scythe!

Finished Tatters head model. Now to figure out how I want the strips of cloth to hang from him to give him that torn up cloak look.

Tatters Update!
Finally got all my trig proper and cleaned up all my mess in the model class so I could condense all the working code into a small simple function.
The results. Dozens of cloth strips swaying in the breeze that move and react to the bodies movement just as real cloth should.
