Hey guys,

Welcome to the Mythical Minecraft mod. This mod is very close to it's alpha release so I decided to make a forum post.

If you have any ideas for the mod please let me know in the thread. I am always welcome to new ideas!

I'd Like to thank Techstack and Dr. Cyano for helping me get this mod running and off of it's feet. Without them I would still be at square one. I encourage you all to go and check out their mods.

Sorry for the delayed increase, I am working on another mod as a team with some others and have had a lot of schoolwork, hopefully I will release over Christmas break.

Sorry for the delayed progress but school has come in the way of my progress. I will be continuing progress after my finals next week.

I'm hoping to get a release of the mod that includes all/most of the weapons this week. Then I will try to add any blocks that seem necessary(I have a bad experience with adding blocks to this mod so far). And finally I will start adding the monsters and gods. We may see a release of the mod with a monster or two this week but it's not very likely.

Sorry again for the delay. I didn't have as many features finished as I wanted so I didn't release an alpha last week. Might release one next weekend.

I have gotten my world gen to work so be expecting an alpha release with a few features soon.

Finishing up the basic worldgen for the greek mythology update. Working on getting some custom models in as well. All mobs are still a WIP but once I've figured out one I'll start pumping out others hopefully.

Hopefully I'll release this summer. Been busy with school and working with the De-extinction team on the De-extinction mod.

Old hard drive completely crashed so I lost all progress. My computer is apparently not capable of decompiling minecraft or forge to set up a modding development in f1.8.9 forward. Should I continue in 1.8 or wait until I get an upgrade?

Also I think you need the correct version of Java to recompile mc beyond. I think they switched to Java 1.8 for mc 1.8.9 or 1.9 and prior to that you need an older version of java.

The latest version wasn't pushed to github. I wish I'd remembered to do that after my first hard drive crashed and I recovered the code but I forgot.

I do have java 1.8, my problem is that my system doesn't have enough RAM, I've seen other people with the same problem so I'm going to try some of their fixes.

Edit: Just realized that I'd forgotten completely about the progress on github. Thanks for reminding me.

I am going to be able to continue development in 1.10.2 now. Some guy suggested making a gradle.properties file that allocated more RAM to the process and then closing everything else.
