I had this white border thing happen with MF1 interestingly; I noticed it when I installed Gregtech alongside (though it was likely something Gregtech did rather than Gregtech itself).

Also moving around the book trying to hopelessly search for recipes to items in other tabs in abit-messy it might be a good idea to add a way to click on items in the book to pull up their recipes or make a NEI plugin for your mod so you can view the new recipes in NEI, other then that it's a great mod so-far.

Hey, i had another idea. Would it be possible to add a scrapping/salvaging mechaninc in? Ive killed quite a few skeletons and zombies to have a small pile of damaged tools and it would be neat if i could break them down and get salvage like metal chunks or planks or maybe even leather strips.
The only other use i have for those spares are for grinder weapons.
I've been having an odd problem using this mod in multiplayer. When I put it on a server, everything worked great until someone placed the reseatch station, at which point the game forced everyone out with the error
"Connection lost. Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: java.io.IOExeption: The recieved string length is longer than the maximum allowed (23 > 20)"
The server would continue running, but no one would be able to log back in. In a LAN set up, we had the same reaction, only the host was fine, but the person not hosting would be kicked off as soon as the research station was placed into the world. It happened both in a large modpack and when played alone, and I have no idea what's causing this, since it has never crashed me.
Crafting padded armor with heavily damaged leather armor (around 20 or so durability) will result in a negative durability, making it seemingly indestructible .
Using it in the plate mail recipe will result in slightly damaged armor.
Huh, that's weird then. I've been messing around with the heavy pick for awhile and I haven't seen it mine stone properly. It must be one of the modd in my pack conflicting with it then. I'll dig around my configuration to see if anything is amiss

What do you mean? as in not "Workable" Just make the forge hotter (blaze powder and bellows may be enough, if not then, lava)

Yeh.. but then you've got a bunch of other (unsupported) mods that suddenly appear to be my problem for some reason api and config or not.
Do you have any idea if you are going to be adding the stealth system from Minefantasy 1 to Minefantasy 2? I really liked that in the old Minefantasy.

That Is really strange. They added a 20 character limit in 1.8 but i'm not sure why you'd be getting this now.

The recipe for the chocolate cake still uses an uniced carrot cake to make it at the end.
I tried following the recipe (with the carrot cake), and it does make a chocolate cake.
Btw, if you guys still want something like the old MF hardcore system for 1.7.10, there's this mod:
