I always thougt the implemented Minions are a temporary solution until the real ones are finished.
When I suggested Minions, I had something like a Story in Mind. The Model doesnt quite fit the Story, but that is not necceserly a bad thing.
Even though I love makeing up stories and writeing them or telling them someone. If I knew how to create a Mod, it would have at least a Backstory that gives the Player Hints of what to do. Readable in Books to be found in Dungeons Chests.
I give you what the Story kind of looks like. Im sorry for my bad english, and the poor writeing.
I promese, it is a lot better when I write in German and have more time and space to write.

Personally I don't to read books in Minecraft since it is not very comptable to read them in the small GUI, but other people might be be interested in them and would like to read them. So if you think it it is a good idea, I could add it to Dungeon Chests, maybe split in two parts?
it seems there are some issues between this mod and some other I have, I imagine it's Ars Magica that causes it. When I get infected I can't move for those 20 mins, well I can press forward and then when I try to jump it doesn't jump, but moves a tiny bit forward... and the bat form cannot fly, but otherwise works. haven't seen any other issues.

The movement issue is caused by a potion id issue. Please change the id's in the ars magica config file. Vampirism currently uses the ids 40 to 43, so adjust the ars magica ones accordingly. In future version Vampirism's ids will be adjustable as well and it will try to warn the user about potion conflicts.
About the bat form: Di you mean you cannot fly at all? At least together with Ars Magica I was not able to reproduce that, only if you switch from creative to survival mode, you have to re-enable it again. Maybe another mod causes this problem?
You spawn in a vampire and get bitten. And no I have no idea how to spawn one. #that'swhatyoutubeisfor. The # was just for fun. A mine craft youtuber said you get bitten by one,and I just assumed you could spawn or summon one since you can with any other mob.
EDIT: also, do you know how well the thirst for vampires would work with The Spice of Life mod?
also perhaps you could add into the config, at some point, the option of what potion effects goes to the different abilities etc. for example MineFantasyII adds stamina, and I would like to add regen of that to the regeneration ability. you can't add all those effects, but users can, if the option was there in config.
and then how about adding the special sword effect, as an enchantment, and add a recipe to craft a book with that enchantment, using fangs?

I think you missunderstood me. I didnt suggest you to add this Story into Dungeon Books. I just wanted to share the Story I made up. (edited a bit) Many, but not all, of my suggestions were based of the Story. For Exemple the short (seconds) version of Sagnuinare for bitten Mobs for the Athmosphere, and the AI changes for the Vampire Mobs. (vampire piggs attacking normal Pigs, vampire sheep attacking normal sheep etc, vampire mobs takeing sundamage...)
You probably remember those suggestions, even though I dont really get why they were turned down.
(But if you saw it, In the Story, the (pure blood dropping) so called Lords had their own little castles in the Middle of nowhere. Small little Castles that are basicly dungeons but have a coffin and a Lord there. If they were in the Mod, the Player knew where to look for this type of Vampires.
They woulnt need to be half as big as a village, and they would be in the vampire biome too, but there where no maximum number of them.)
Also, If Dracula is going to be "Lord" instead of "Count", the current Lords need another Name. Dukes, for Exemple. Just a thought.

This is easily one of my favorite mods but it has one very serious issue: it won't let me get to level 7. i built the structure EXACTLY how its shown in the wiki and i even built it facing north (like it says to) but whenever i try to get to level 7 it says "this structure is wrong for this ritual"

hey why don't you make it to were you bite real players instead of villagers of and when you online the players have real player skins and user names I saw it in the spider queen mod
and the vampire lord should be a commander because Dracula is a vampire lord

implement lycanthropy (werewolf infection) so that you are either a lycan or vampire!
He has said several times that he will not be adding werewolves.
What is needed for the last ritual I tried hearts and pure blood and normal blood and cant seem to find out how. please help.
