I saw your Pic of the Hunterskills. I think the Beginning should be the Player becomeing a Hunter at the same Altar that makes the Vampire human again.
Killing Vampires gives the Hunter Fangs, that he can trade for the Things in your Tec-tree.
Maybe again in the Altar or from a special villager?
Let me list a few Ideas.
-Put some Garlic at a Block like a Torch. Vampires cant enter a 5x5x5 area arround the "Garlic Torch". If its there, its like an invisible wall. If it gets placed, the Vampires get damage (only a litte bit) and flee (at least NPCs) This applies for Player Vampires as well.
-Vampire hunters can not recieve the Effect that turns one into a Vampire, but they are still Human and therefore drinkable.
-A way o make Vampires unable to drink from you by wearing a certain Armor or something.
-A Cross that can be equipped to any Door. If a Cross is equipped on an door, vampires cant open it. With the same Item, coffins could be "sealed". This means no Vampire could enter or leave the Coffin.
-Holy water inside a Bottle. Can be thrown like a splas potion. Damages only Vampires and Undead. Heals Hunters, normal Players, normal villagers and normal farm animals. In Multiplayer, they could also be used to break the Disguise if a Vampire uses some sort of disguise abillity.
-The awesome Crossbow from the Movie Van Helsing as an Update to the normal Crossbow.
-Vampire Animals and Villagers takeing Sun Damage.
-High Level abbility to recruit and commad a group of Max. 5 Hunters. Upgradeble to 10, 15, 20 and 25 whyle progressing.
-Levels habe diffrent Names. lets say for exemple Ranks. (Such as Recruit, Frontier, Captain, Major, General and such for hunters and fitting counterparts for Vampires.)
-Vampire Npcs use Coffins if there are any nearby. Special Vampire NPCs use Vampire Powers.
-Villagers that Die or get trned under your protection can lead to to loss of Level/Rank or looseing the Hunter status. The letter one would also mean that most Equipment is not useable anymore.
-something that instantly brakes any Tool useful for Vampires exept for Armor and Wheapons. Umbarellas, for Exemple.

i disagree with the equimtment for were they can't bite you. It should be were if you become a hunter they won't like it because you injected garlic in you. Also there should be a diffrent way to loose a level or maby not. (Not loose a level) Also in that discription of yours... I am a villager so i don't even think it's 5% but everything else you suggested i agree with.

I said that because even if it's not it's an idea i don't agree with i'm just saying what i think about it being added and why thats basicly what everyones been doing. But i didn't mean to really offend or give you all credit for what your signature says i just got a little offtopic and was kinda saying it as if i wrote P.S. before it. Secondly about what already I have already implemented: You become a hunter by injecting garlic at a special "chair", so the Church Altar won't be used for that, but it could for "holy" stuff later. Also vampire fangs are used for leveling at a research table respectivly a hunter trainer npc that "trains you"/levels you up. Furthermore Hunters cannot be infected by sanguinare vampiris, but their blood can be drunken even though it's poisonus for vampires.

A garlic torch will definitivly be reimplemented, but I made the experience that it did not work very well in multiplayer. So I think it won't do much to vampire players except maybe a weakness or slowness effect. -The awesome Crossbow from the Movie Van Helsing as an Update to the normal Crossbow.

Normal vampire animals already receive damage in the sun, villagers however only receive a weakness effect and run away from the sun. Therby there hopefully is some more dynamic in the village. The first thing sounds interesting. The second one even more, but also really hard to implement, but I will keep that in mind.
Keep in mind that it will take pretty long to implement all that, but some things should be available in the near future.

+If to many villagers are bitten in a short amount of time the village turn aggressive and some villagers will equip their pitchfork and start hunting vampires in their village.

+Started adding compatibility features for WAILA and JEI
Please tell me if you notice villages with too many vampires or hunters or converted villagers or too few villagers at all. It is quite hard balancing that.
Also tell me if the entities are acting strange. I think implementing an AI is one of the most difficult things (besides good world gen), so it takes a lot of time to get it right.
Next up on the list are bugfixes and afterwards finally the hunter skill tree.
Hey can you do some mod compatibility with Village box mod, that way you can have a Vampire Village? That would be cool.

Admittedly I was not expecting that results....it can't be right, I for one have to much a hero complex for that to be right and two: I am one of the most Pessimistic people around.....yea I have no idea how I got Mew.....
Now I got it, this is the Pokemon I would be. And I am not just saying that because I like Mewtwo, I really am a lot like Mewtwo.
So, i dont have any suggestions about hunters. But you could give vampires some sort of mind control ability. Also vampires should be able to feed from other players and interact with them more. But some kind of mind control thing for vampires could be good. And actually hunters could do something to get extra power or sense vampires etc. Sorry about the bad writing, wrote this quickly on my phone and english is not my main language. I haven't played this a lot, but it definitely has potential! You could add more stuff to vampire leveling too, like the leveling process could be an adventure of it's own! I'm not sure how the leveling is right now but last time i played it seemed a little simple. Not trying to be mean, this is an awesome mod!
I agree but it should mostly just be AI affectable. (Also i don't think i can see many mistakes.)
In this mod can you suck blood from everything?I think you should be able to(maybe just exclude a few things like Iron golems,skeletons,etc)This is so because just in case you have many mods but cant suck off any of them
Is there a 1.8.9 version or did you skip that one?

Hi, I just got the mod and I was wondering if we could infect villagers while using the mod "MCA". I've tried but so far I cannot turn a villager while using MCA and just thought it'd be awesome if we could have vampire families and/or royal bloodline. Also I haven't had any luck crafting any armor, but maybe its not been added to 1.9 yet? Other than that great mod! One of my favorites.
Minecraft comes alive? That is a very popular request to include those.
I never used that Mod, but from as far as I know, it replaces Villagers with (somewhat) player modelled mobs that can be married and allows the Player to have children with the Wife/Husband. Its for People who dont like the squidward looking Villagers. (unlike me)
I dont know how difficult it would be, but it sounds as this would be a small addon that requires MCA and allowes vampires to turn them into vampire "Villagers".
It would probably include multiple textures for the Vampires.
I support this Idea, even tho I dont use MCA and dont plan to ever use it.

Awesome! Also, I have many ideas (and I try to be realistic with my ideas) and would like to perhaps offer help with the mod, the only issue is I don't know how to program or mod. If someone could teach me or provide instructions of some sort I would gladly try to help.

err i don't really agree but maby if you turn into mist for a short duration you can posses objects and make them float.
yeah! and with leveling your duration will rise with the mist form

Some technical gadget to sense vampires would be cool. The mind control ability sounds interesting as well, but difficult to implement, so I will keep that in mind for later. Thanks for the suggestions

I skipped that one, since it would be quite some additional work and most 1.8.9 mods should be updated to 1.9 soon

sounds pretty normal but instead of just dealing damage this should apply an effect that makes it act like they are in direct sunlight
