I saw this back when it first came out a while ago. I love these animation mods and this one is by far my favorite. I just wish they wouldn't have compatibility issues with 3D armor and body attachments, such as the backapck from BetterStorage.
Also, if it is possible could you add an option to have certain tools use certain animation by putting their item ID's in the config?
Maybe the identifiers could work in numbers as well to make it easier, and have 1= pickaxe or whatever.
Would be cool because swinging a frying pan around like a madman when combining Tinkers' Construct with this is somewhat hilarious, it is also very silly and I would like to have it swing like a pickaxe or axe. Sword trails could also have an option for anything with the sword swing animation. They don't work with Tinker Tools :c
I really love the running animation, by the way. It really makes the game come alive. It's always fun to see zombies burning in the sun as well xD

Is the mod documented so other modders could use it as an API of sorts? Are the animations hardcoded or made in an editor? Is it easy to add animations to modded models?
Nah, it is not documented. The animations are hardcoded and I suppose the only person that can add new animations atm is me xD.
Does it work client-side only, or does it use the server-side as well? I'd like to use it when playing on servers, but idk if it'll mess up or not.
It works client-side only :). Beware of the 1.8 version though xD. Or if you have to use it, make sure no one gets hit by an arrow. Minecraft's efforts to render the arrows stuck in someone makes everything go haywire! You've been warned xD.

Hey, GobBruh, Mak A) Skin overlays (Jackets, sleeves and leggings) Compatible with this mod- and fix the inventory spaz bug! Then, thas mod will be the best. Especially if you include facial expressions similar to that of Animated play- Then i'll love it even more!
I really think you should make compatible with the battlegear mod and backpacks so you could see the 3d weapons and 3d backpacks...also it would be cool if you could animate minecraft comes alive villagers and Horses.
I'd like to see Zombies freak out when they are on fire again if that's possible!
Also, are there any tutorials for creating animation packs for different mobs? I would like to copy the zombie animations over to the Angry Zombies from Thaumcraft and some others to Primative Mobs.
Yeah, made me feel like I was in Half-Life or GMod, where the headcrab zombies freaked out when ignited and flailed their arms in the air. Hilarious indeed.
Btw, the only mod I have installed that modifies the player animations is Mo'Bends and Galacticraft(not sure if it interferes or not), and my player is not animated at all.
Will there be mod support in the future? Been wanting to have this mod alongside TerraFirmaCraft. TFC has its own versions of the vanilla mobs. While there are changes like their maximum health, animation-wise and model-wise they're the same.
Does anyone know how to fix a bug between M&B Battlegear 2 & Mo' Bends? When I sheath my weapons, the rendering for them doesn't work properly. The models are moved out of place.

i imagine its more likely azanors fault but the modeled armor from thaumcraft doesn't fit properly the boots and legging work but the chest and headpieces do not .when you swing your character does the mo bends animations while the armor does the default animation

Yes, perhaps. As far as I checked, fortress armor's model is more complex than vanilla like armors (e.g., Thaumium armors).
And, for exapmle, traveler's gears' accessories like vanblace also does not animate properly.
So my question is to say, is it possible to deal with complex / multi-parts armor model in Mo'Bends?

What I did is just checking fortress armor's texture model and comparing with other simple model armor.
