yeah it worked fine, although I think the same issue is there with the knight's armor XD, so just readded it.
well the bridge did already alter the spell recipes didn't it? in my game it required MF tools with the bridge.
Yea, the spells have an api method, so they were easy. Can you post the error from the armour? With the dependency, that shouldn't happen.
Also, are you using the AP version, or the one edited by AwesomeGem, Mangoose and I?
I suspect you have an ID conflict, as the error relates to knight armour, but is caused by the line of code that removes the recipes for rawhide leggings from MF

Using a slightly older build of battlegear should fix the blocking crash, but I forget the version number... shouldn't be too hard to figure out though with some trial and error

Ensure the version of battlegear you're using is the 1.6.4 version, not the 1.7. Also, I would advise that you use the 1.3.4 version of MineFantasy. It crashes less and has better MFBridge support.

there have been some serious changes, and some things are better the way they used to be, in some modpack combinations. For examples deepiron turned out to be a dud, and is gone in MF2.

nah, that's not really needed, it's more a matter of taste I believe, I also think MF2 is not that far off in the future.

I seem to be finding that all the Grimoire of Gaia mobs are dropping hides, instead of just the centaur.
And also the Thaumcraft page in your recipe guide just has the Twilight Forest info again.

Now we just need a 1.6.4 (and up) NEI plugin for it.
Edit: Same thing with Mo' Creatures. All seem to be dropping hides, even maggots.
Can you post the log for a session where this happened? MFBridge does have a catch for all mobs that try to drop leather drop hide instead, so if something is making them drop leather the log will have a bunch of messages about it.

This is with Ars Magica? I didn't change the fix. Have you made any changes to your mods?
