Has anyone managed to shed light on the Milk issue for version 1.7.10 of the mod. Milking a cow using an Autonomus activator and pumping it into an OpenBlocks tank OR ThirstyTank and then attempting to put it into a boiler indicates that it "Cannot be broken down." I am not using MFR or Forestry. Only ThermalExpansion. Must I use a DynaismTablet instead of Autonomous Activator, or must I use the Bovine Runes? I'm not quite sure I understand why the milk is acting this way. I know that the mod adds its own milk but why would vanilla milk be causing an issue?
Perhaps tehre is a way to Minetweaker it in if this is indeed a bug?
Milk in vanilla isn't a liquid. The only two vanilla liquids are water and lava. What this means is that if a mod wants 'liquid' milk, they have to create it. So, chances are one of the other mods you're using does it too, and it seems the two 'liquid milk' options aren't interchangable.
Honestly I'd just use bovine runes because there's no beating ranged milk collection and auto-pumping.
Was just curious but are you planning on updating this add-on once Thaumcraft 6 releases? Really love this add-on and would greatly miss it if it were to not come to Thaumcraft 6.

Thaumcraft 6 has been put on hiatus, so an addon for that doesn't make a lot of sense. The current plan is to develop a different mod, instead. No details have been announced, but I will say I generally like magic more than tech, so there's that. (Don't take this as a firm promise, though. I've been busy with other things and have yet to really look into the latest modded Minecraft version(s).)

I'm wary of developing an addon for a Thaumcraft spin-off, especially if I'm not sure it has the blessing of Azanor.
I have started coding a separate mod, though... one which I've been thinking about for a few years, now.
What's the new mod about? Will it be your own unique take on magical automation? I could see that being a cool idea. All the automation possibilities of what you once offered but simpler, cheaper, and with no dependency. I could see giving that a good go.

If regular is Vanilla then what flavor is your Minecraft?
It's in the early stages. I don't want to give too much away. But yes, it will be a magic mod and it will likely include automation as a major component (but that won't be its only focus). I may reuse some concepts from Automagy but I'm not talking about just importing all my thaumic devices over. The theme is pretty different from Thaumcraft so I don't think building a bunch of magic steampunk "machines" like you do with TC and Automagy would make sense.

Exactly! So much simpler without all the odd crafting steps and machines. I may thaum around a bit to, but I agree with you completely that magical automation is much more fun when it's easier.

Ooh, this is exciting! IMO, you're one of the better modders out there, so i'm excited to see what you've got in mind for an original mod idea.
I'm still plugging away at my "unannounced" other mod (for which I may have to create a new thread*)... but I think I'd like to put out at least one last release of Automagy for 1.7.10 and 1.8.9 -- just to fix some bugs and maybe tweak some settings. But I need to know if this is worth my time. I know people are still using the mod but I'm not sure how important these possible changes really are to them. So I'm putting out some feelers.
I don't want to spend a lot of time on this, but if anyone has any pressing concerns, now's your chance to let me know. You can post here, but don't forget about the Github issues page where you can comment/react to existing issues or post new ones. I'll go over everything several days from now and evaluate.

Oh, hope to see this "other mod" you speak of come to life... Really loved Automagy (I still miss the inventarium in the newer versions of Minecraft), so Im sure this new mod will probably be as good as the latter. I shall now return back to the shadows, lurking this thread whilst wating for news on this project of yours...
Whilst I did come here to find out if you'd be creating a Thaumcraft 6 update for Automagy, I fully look forward to this standalone mod Automagy – especially the Inventarium – has always been a bit too impressive to stay in the shadow of Thaumcraft, as beautiful as its integration was, further cementing my desire to only play Minecraft with Thaumcraft installed.
You do realize that your inventiarium is the most balanced awesome thing that ever existed right????? Please keep on this mod man I play it all the time, and think of new and improved ways to optimize my productions and all.... Basically, I love you for creating this mod!
Anybody have some info about automagy for thaumcraft 6 or maybe better thaumcraft 6.2 for minecraft 1.12. I am really missing this addon so much. I cant find Tuhjin twitter or patreon for better contact with fans.
I suppose you could always make a request for TC6 compatibility there, as others have put in requests for various things as well.
Note that the author is still active on this forum so you might have a reply here either way

And Pengu's Lost Thaumaturgy. It's bringing back that retro Thaumcraft 2 feel in 1.11.2+. Apengu even said he has an API for this.

I do plan on releasing a new version of Automagy for TC 6. I'm just not focusing on it, particularly while TC is still in beta.
