Then you've been lucky, it almost always takes me at least 30 minutes to even find a single piece of Ardite. But that's not really that important, the question is still:
Is there a config to change the damage values without Iguana Tweaks?
Can you add support for Aether 2 materials? I'd really like to make a Gravitite Hammer or a Zanite scythe.
EDIT: What about Tropicraft?
I asked several months ago about Aether 2 support, Glassmaker said he'll think about it, as for Tropicraft that hasn't been brought up before so thats undecided most likely.

Sorry about not being available recently, I would like to assure you that a new update is in the works, and it's scheduled to be fully focused on after releasing two Team Metallurgy mods.
Known bugs fixed in dev and workarounds for current released version:
Better storage compatibility: There is a known issue that crashes Tinkers' NEI, it's recommended to be turned off until the update.
Erebus compatibility: it's currently broken, so it breaks Iguana tinker tweaks functionality without crashing the game, and recommended to be turn off until the update.
Thermal Foundation compatibility: The tool stats are over the threshold in normal mode, rebalancing is included in dev, and the workaround recommendation for the current version are the stats to be adjusted using Iguana Tinker Tweaks or MineTweaker/ModTweaker.
I add to this issue of compatibility between ExtraTic and Iguana Tinker Tweaks: tools that are supposed to be unusable, like vanilla pickaxes, are very much usable.
Well my biggest problem right now is that it seems like ExtraTiC and Iguana Tinker Tweaks do work together there is just one problem that i have noticed and i have a hard time founding out if its ExtraTiC or Iguana Tinker Tweaks that is to blame.
The only major problem that i have found is that Iguana Tinker Tweaks allows repairing of tools in any crafting grid (if its enabled in the config).
I have this enabled but i can only repair tools in the tool forge/station and not in a crafting bench or in the crafting grid in the inventory, but if i remove ExtraTiC i can repair tools in any crafting grid that i can find.
But i have also noticed that if i use ExtraTiC and Iguana Tinker Tweaks i can craft stone tools even tho this is disbled in Iguana Tinker Tweaks config files, this problem i have not yet found out if its ExtraTiC that does this. But atm i have the mods in a modpack that have a total on 248 mods. But i will soon be looking at taking ExtraTiC and Iguana Tinker Tweaks and use those alone and see if all the problems still are there because if they aint there i will track down the source of the problem and give a list of the mods and which mods that curses the problems.

Try turning off BetterStorage and Erebus compatibility in ExtraTiC.
I'm having an issue where ExtraTIC adds all the components for modded metals (botania, thaumcraft, EnderIO, ect) but none of the recipes for those mods, so I can't actually melt said metals in the smeltery.
Any Ideas or is that just not added in yet? I'm currently on 1.4.5

Its is true that some recipes are not added yet and if you want them then you'll need Minetweaker or Modtweaker, but any metals from magic-based mods don't go in the smeltery, they go in the part builder, if you still don't have the recipes then they either aren't added or theres a conflict causing the recipes not to work.

Ah, part builder and modtweaker it is!
(though I do think it would quite nice to perhaps down the line have a comfig option for melting magical metals. Nothing says "spooky" like a floor covered in liquid voidmetal from Thaumcraft)

On reddit and a couple other places, I've seen people saying that manasteel TiC tools either repair with mana or use mana instead of durability, but that's not working for me. Is it working for anyone else?

I know that standard manasteel tools repair that way, don't know about ExtraTiC tools.

Thats the plan for manasteel tools, but as me, Glassmaker, and MANY others have said, not every mechanic or recipe, or item has been added, glassmaker and the ExtraTIC/Metallurgy team have been working to finish the mod. Manasteel and MAYBE the other Botania tools will be able to be repaired with mana at a later date unless Glassmaker changes his mind.

Sorry, I'm not trying to rush you or anything, I'm just trying to clarify whether it is or is not in the mod as of now, because, as I said, I saw people saying it was in and working, but I can't make it work.
So basically I just want to know if it's just something I'm doing wrong, or if it's just not in yet.

No good sir, that mechanic is not yet implemented, anyone saying that it is either lying or a dev worker on the mod.
You can change the stats using modtweaker http://minetweaker3.powerofbytes.com/wiki/ModTweaker:TConstruct_Support

A few liquids you missed
Gregtech's Stainless Steel (you use to make most machines) 4 wrought iron, 3 invar, 1 Chromium, 1 Manganese
Gregtech's Tungsteel (You use to make most endgame machines 1 steel 1 tungsteen
Gregtech's Ultimet (5 cobalt, 2 chrome, 1 nickel, 1 molybendum)
Gregtech's Wrought Iron (Heated iron i guess)
Vanilla tools being unusable is a config option in Tinkers' construct. It's disabled by default.

Will there be future compatibility with Crazy Ores?
Try turning off BetterStorage and Erebus compatibility in ExtraTiC.
I had a quick look at it, the common stuff should be supported.
The other things might get support, no promises

Alright thanks. If you do choose to support the unique ores it would go very nicely alongside metallurgy.

Okey dokey, thanks, that's all I needed to know. I can stop beating my head against the wall then
