Kubach server is kinda unstable.PLUS WHERE THE HECK DO WE FIND ALL THOSE MODS!
kubach.tk is quite stable at this moment. And at this moment it's the one really playable and well mantainable WarpDrive server, because it mantained by mod developer.
Also, for all, who want to just play this mod, you can download ready-to-use pack (with all nessesary mods) from it's website and enjoy multiplayer environment.

Usually complex mods, that relays on different big mods, updates in long period after initial vanilla release. That's because developer need to wait, while all required mods will be updated and become a bit stable to use. When we speaking about kubach.tk, so it really runs 3 different servers with MC servers on them. WarpDrive original, WarpDrive GregTech, and WarpDrive testing. So firstly new version comes to testing to remove all visible bugs and incompabilities, then it goes to original, and second mantainer then updates WarpDrive GregTech server.
Whatever, you should not wait for rapid update to 1.7.
This mod looks really cool and I see a lot of potential for it, but it should have some way (even minimally) to be played by itself without having to install 3 other mods to use the space ship. Maybe a coal engine for power, a terminal with pre-made commands so that you don't have to use something complex like computer craft?

That's a known bug in singleplayer. I guess it does not extend to servers, as they were able to jump to hyperspace in the mod showcase. The mod author promised he'll fix it soon (see page 17 of the thread).

Try this quick fix: create a file "gates.txt" in client folder.

You need to post the crash log if you want help. That is the most basic rule of mod support unless you are new to it.

Edit: The warpcore takes forever to fill, so cannot test jumping to hyperspace directly (yet). The jumpgate does not generate.
