Sorry... the latest version of extrautils extrautils2-1.10.2-alpha-1.1.0a crashes my client. Server is fine though.... forge-1.10.2-12.18.1.2094-universal
So let me get this straight... IF I have a version of ExtraUtilities HIGHER THAN 1.0.1 AND I'm using Tconstruct OR RandomThings, Optifine will crash me?
Hey, i saw this mod from etho and ssundee, but i cannot get it to work, like i put it in my mods folder and it doesn't load when i activate minecraft. Am i doing something wrong?
Is anyone else getting these crashes when trying to place the new Quantum Quarry? I get it using ExtraUtils versions 1.10.2 Alpha 1.1.0, 1.10.2 Alpha 1.1.0a, and 1.10.2 Alpha 1.1.0b.

What is the recipe to make the Impossible Object?
I have NEI installed, but these items do not show up in NEI. They do show up in the creative mode inventory search. I can create them from there, but they are all the same texture even though it shows that they can have just about any texture.
has anyone found a way to bury the division sigil ritual underground? i cant get access to the moon and would of thought the xray capability of an unstable block would of allowed that but nope
so latest ver of extra utils2 1.1.0c alpha all textures are broken, is this cause of optifine or tinkers, or something else, its the same with any ver higher than 1.0.1 alpha
so latest ver of extra utils2 1.1.0c alpha all textures are broken, is this cause of optifine or tinkers, or something else, its the same with any ver higher than 1.0.1 alpha
is there a way to change the top of the magical wool block? ive changed the sides but the sides render on top and bottom as well and id like to change that
Question about Blackout Curtains....I am running FTB Infinity Evolved modpack, and whatever functionality allows F7 to show with red and yellow crosshatching where mobs can spawn at night (yellow) or anytime (red) due to light level, shows red crosshatch under blackout curtain blocks. Is this just a limitation of how whatever adds that function to tell in this situation, or can any hostile mobs spawn in a blackout curtain?
I'm guessing not since the space is occupied by an object, but the red crosshatch has me nervous. See attached image.
(EDIT: Using the curtains and Dark Glass to make a darkened chamber for Tinkers' Construct Oreberry Bushes.)
thank you! And I had already done the "just in case" thing of putting dark glass blocks under the curtains as nothing can spawn on glass anyway.
I just wasn't sure if it had to be a solid block if not lit up. You can walk through the curtains, you can walk through torches and levers...so had just wanted to check.
So let me get this straight... IF I have a version of ExtraUtilities HIGHER THAN 1.0.1 AND I'm using Tconstruct OR RandomThings, Optifine will crash me?
What this means is that Mantle API, EU2 1.2.x (and above) and anything related to Mantle API will crash when Optifine is added because these mod authors feel that Optifine with how it renders things and smooths out and speeds up the game is not supported for their mods. Which I find hindering when using mods because Optifine makes the game smoother and run faster with mods installed. What I'd suggest is either not using these mods or have Optifine. nobody wants a horribly laggy and micro glitchy game running.
so latest ver of extra utils2 1.1.0c alpha all textures are broken, is this cause of optifine or tinkers, or something else, its the same with any ver higher than 1.0.1 alpha
Optifine HD_U_D2 fixes the issue with broken textures with EU 1.1.0x It will not fix any issues related to 1.2.x since the mod author hates Optifine. Major lag with entity and block breaking is caused by 1.2.x I still don't quite understand the popularity with this and Tinkers construct when compared to how Optifine works.
IMHO stay with optifine and don't get rid of it no matter what the crash report tells you. It is better to have a stable game than to have one with micro glitching and freeing issues, which is what happens when one adds mods to minecraft.
He does. Just not on here. He prefers Twitter for most interactions, and github and curseforge for bug/crash issues.
He doesn't even interact on Curseforge/Github either. Most issues that have been opened two years ago are still open. He has yet to close those issues. Such a shame...Great potential for a great mod wasted with such a mod author.
your issue is literally optifine. Any versions past 1.0.1 for it will crash you if you have TConstruct or Random Things in same mod folder.
Check out my modpack if you are looking for a tough modpack, though its still having stuff changed here and there: http://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/deadly-encounters
Also using agricraft and pam's harvestcraft and want to fix the sesame seed issue? I know how to check my bio for link to see how to fix it.

What is the recipe to make the Impossible Object?
I have NEI installed, but these items do not show up in NEI. They do show up in the creative mode inventory search. I can create them from there, but they are all the same texture even though it shows that they can have just about any texture.
Thank you
has anyone found a way to bury the division sigil ritual underground? i cant get access to the moon and would of thought the xray capability of an unstable block would of allowed that but nope
learn to use the spoiler tag, geez.

Thread should be locked anyways. The developer does not care to interact with us.
Check out my Let's Play Series:
He does. Just not on here. He prefers Twitter for most interactions, and github and curseforge for bug/crash issues.
so latest ver of extra utils2 1.1.0c alpha all textures are broken, is this cause of optifine or tinkers, or something else, its the same with any ver higher than 1.0.1 alpha
I'm going to go with Optifine.
is there a way to change the top of the magical wool block? ive changed the sides but the sides render on top and bottom as well and id like to change that
Question about Blackout Curtains....I am running FTB Infinity Evolved modpack, and whatever functionality allows F7 to show with red and yellow crosshatching where mobs can spawn at night (yellow) or anytime (red) due to light level, shows red crosshatch under blackout curtain blocks. Is this just a limitation of how whatever adds that function to tell in this situation, or can any hostile mobs spawn in a blackout curtain?
I'm guessing not since the space is occupied by an object, but the red crosshatch has me nervous. See attached image.
(EDIT: Using the curtains and Dark Glass to make a darkened chamber for Tinkers' Construct Oreberry Bushes.)

the f7 function is from NEI and no they shouldnt spawn since as you said the block space is occupied
thank you! And I had already done the "just in case" thing of putting dark glass blocks under the curtains as nothing can spawn on glass anyway.
I just wasn't sure if it had to be a solid block if not lit up. You can walk through the curtains, you can walk through torches and levers...so had just wanted to check.

well ive got one in my house just on planks and have never had a mob spawn in there or it would have killed me poor villager wifey and son lol
Nor does he care to fix anything we ask him about
Optifine HD_U_D2 fixes the issue with broken textures with EU 1.1.0x It will not fix any issues related to 1.2.x since the mod author hates Optifine.
He doesn't even interact on Curseforge/Github either. Most issues that have been opened two years ago are still open. He has yet to close those issues. Such a shame...Great potential for a great mod wasted with such a mod author.
