grumbot if you trying or going to finish the zepplin mod were will the download be avalible
The old Zeppelin mod by Blakmajik, or this mod of mine, SMP Ships?
I definitely don't plan to do anything with Zeppelin.
I suppose I might possibly finish mine in the middle or end of the year when I have time, if no-one else has already, but that's too far ahead for me to say so for sure, and I wouldn't bet on it.
I would put a link in the OP here if I did anything.
I'm going to try and take this up and continue it. I currently can't download it as mediafire is blocked on these computers, however, i shall hopefully be (at the very least) having a look at it by the end of the week. I know very, very little about minecraft modding but i can see java code and understand what it does. I will be plowing my way through tutorials on how to mod so that i can take this up as my first modding project.
I am getting a new computer in May and am going to be learning to program in java, once i have enough experience i will hopefully help with this project. One of my friends is learning to program java as well so i will see if he is willing to help.
That would be awesome if he allowed someone to pick this up and run with it, it's kind of amazing on youtube. I'm wayyyy to lazy to create a new instance for this.
it does desserve more attention but it need to be brought to peoples attention to get any more so for the ones that can do and will be interested and have the time to finish the mod
a config file will help to keep this mod alive...I cant use it, because the id's are all used already, and I cant change them...
I had assumed that forge sorted out any id clashes....apparently I'm wrong? It seems unrealistic to expect mod makers to be able to find ids that no-one else is using...

Forge does, But i think it requires the config file to do so. I think it sorts out the IDs when generating the config files, It allocates a different ID to each config file.
To get the mobs, install the resource pack on the github, or use the Pokécube Mobs mod below.
Sounds, Textures and additional Pokemobs can be added by also using the following mod:
note that Pokécube Core requires

Forge does not resolve block ID conflicts. It's been discussed before and I forget exactly why but the last I heard was that it was explicitly decided not to try to incorporate that functionality into Forge. Forge just enables people to resolve the conflicts via the config files when they install new mods.

When using your mod, I get block id errors, but there is no config to change it...

There is an ID resolver mod though .
