I think i have to take a break from modding for a a while because:
In the last weeks school has really taken over my live and when i have some free time i often lack motivation to continue codding on this mod. Also i have other project to work on. Luckily the school year is almost over, here in germany and when summer vacation begins on the 13th of July i will have enough time to work on this project again. Also excuse my bad grammar today. I barely slept and im REALLY tired. Still: thanks for your suggestions. I will still follow this thread and post things when i have the time.
Maybe they can use both textures and even have another block design to automatically load these torpedoes with input from a console on the bridge, this was they can have different settings on torpedoes without having some one manually doing it and taking 20-30 minutes, heck starships that are of simple design like shuttles can be run by one person but I was thinking of bigger ships having consoles if it has more complex weapons and other stuff, love to see tactical, comms and veiwscreens with magnification, messaging and other cool things it has
Also I might be able to help with coding, under my posts there is a banner of a mod I made entirely by myself, so I got experience

Ok Dann kann ich ja deutsch schreiben. Ich mache gerade mit ein paar Freunden ein privates Modpack für unseren Server (1.7.10)(auch privat) Wir testen eigene Mods und WIP mods. Ich würde gerne diese mod unterstützen indem wir: Sie testen, Serverkompatibelität testen und Ich persönlich würde gerne ein Paar Texturen machen und dafür muss ich wissen in welcher Auflösung aka 8*8 oder 16*16 usw. May I beta test? Unfortunately I have no coding experience but am a long life TNG trekkie. I do have 1.7.10 Forge and know how to mod.
AGAIN: the mod is for forge 1.8 and no, you cant beta test. If everyone asking me that question would become a beta tester, i might as well just release the mod. But sorry, thats not going to happen anytime soon.
I would gladly help with textures and names accuracy as well as beta testing it, crafting recipes etc

Textures i have enough. Do you mean translating the mod in other languages with 'names accuracy'? And do you use techne, or some other moddeling software that can create 1.8 .json models? Because i REALLY need someone who can make 1.8 blockmodels.

The following block i would like to have a model: Particle accellerator, laser electron manipulator and photon torpedo launcher.
Torpedo Launcher? Easy. Particle Accelerator? I need an image (I've tried it before and failed). Laser electron manipulator? What the heck is that? I am going to need an image.
IM BACK! And i need some textures for nitrium ingot and ore, isolinear chips (i also need ideas for a crafting recipe for these) and Bio-neural gel packs. If i get these i can finally finish the next update. (0.0.2 alpha)
I just wanted the modders to know I support them all the way. Being a modder myself for another game (Star Wars Empire At War) I know how hard it is to keep going PLEASE DON'T STOP. I would love to help when I have a stable release for my mod which hasn't even been announced yet so it may be awhile.

And you might want to go throug some tutorials for 1.8 modding. Allot of things have changed in the 1.8 update.

We dont need textures either. Also the mod is for 1.8 and not for 1.7.10 and i allready testet server compatibility.

Yes. But because the torpedo will be an entity like an arrow, it will need an techne model.
