I have an inquiry for the mod author. The mod, 'Immersive Engineering', possesses a charging station in which some items may be infused with energy in order to function. The problem is, it isn't possible to charge MPS armour inside of it, & I despise the overuse of Thermal Expansion. Are you the one to ask for compatibility or should I ask the author of Immersive Engineering?

I can't seem to get the recipes for modular powersuits working. I have updated numia and powersuits .jar files but I still can't get the recipes to work. It shows up on NEI, but won't actually craft anything. Here's my minecraft folder
How do you handle the possibility of losing your suit in a place too dangerous to retrieve? I have keepInventory on now, honestly...
Before, I could just keep little on my person and go somewhere dangerous. But that rules out MPS entirely, even though MPS steamrolls compared to cheaper armor, like obsidian from Mekanism.(lol, minechem diamonds! Cheap diamonds are actually rather realistic if you assume high tech, though 9 diamonds equals a cubic meter...)
Those forcefield generators and cooling systems are too tough to remake.
I have a feeling this mod is not ideal if you have enemies to match, unless you like grinding a lot.
PS: how does armor work? Is 25 total points*4%=100% protection? Because if so, the mod enemy must have had armor piercing...
I use openblocks too, think I'll try "in case of emergency", but I think MPS really makes dying hard - hard to do and painful if it happens. I died in the air in the nether, with a dangerous flying mob nearby. Would have need ICE instead of openblocks(item spilling, and backpack from TiC doesn't seem to keep items in it with openblocks, spills them out), and would have needed flight, some good armor, and another Signalum crossbow(Tinkers' Construct plus ExtraTic).
MPS omniwrench is crashing after Mekanism 9 update.
Probably it's not Mekanism's fault, once the error log says nothing about it. The Mek9 update might have exposed a left-over dependency in the MPS mod, which wasn't supposed to be there.
Ms. MachineMuse, I am definitely grateful for the spectacular 3D models & detailed textures that are enabled by default, but I'm the kind of fella that likes mods with a texture/shape that looks like it could have fit into vanilla without any discrepancy. A while back, I noticed the two pictures that I have attached below, & I wanted to know if there's a hidden option somewhere to turn these more rigid models back on. I don't at all mean to bash your hard work on the newest designs, it's just a matter of preference.

Looking at the code for the models, they haven't been changed in 3 years. So whatever means there was to use that setup should still be there. I haven't played with MPS in Minecraft in months due to working on getting the 1.10.2 version done, so I really don't know where/how to use that setup. Without digging into it in the code, it seems like it might just be an issue of turning on and off certain model parts. I think specifically, that is from the "armor2" model.
If it's still in the mod, then yeah. The options are in the cosmetic GUI. I always thought the parts looked weird, but I never saw the full set...now I have to make one lol.

Sorry I haven't responded recently! My Wifi card has been busted(Before you ask, it was the fault of a curious pair of kittens.) for about a week. I appreciate the help, I may very well take a look. My computer isn't especially fantastical, however, so I'll have to wait to play with a load of mods.

For some reason pickaxe,axe and shovel module are as slow as wooden tools,even at max settings.

Two questions. What blocks are you trying to mine, and do you have Iguana's Tinker Tweaks installed? That mod by default disables most non-tinkers tools.
