Look. I love working on this mod, but I can't get it to go anywhere with two inexperienced modders(Including myself). If anyone knows where to recruit modders I would love to know, cause i've passed it through the community numberous times and no one responded. I could make it in modloader, but forge is so much more perferable and I don't know how to do that.
just curious, but does anyone know how to render a weapon on a custom mob? I'm trying to finish up the nutcracker, but I can't render the weapon in his hand.
I do. look under the code for pigzombie and it shows how to add a weapon. I can't remember the exact one right now, But it is relatively easy to find in the Render code.it may be in EntityPigZombie too.
again (post on old topic) i think this needs more support, and a sea day night biome lava water dependent on time clockwork crabs and under water/lava wreckage's with dem phat lewtz and possibly light towers. yeah don't ignore.

I might be able to help your little dillema (pulls back curtain hiding past) I used to be in some mod development teams, but each time either an was on the team or the lead person couldn't stay up to date or people were too lazy, But this has got my full support, and I'm gonna message a few people and see if they're interested in helping y'all out.

Hi there, former leader of the Wild Kingdoms modding team here :). As my friend Zeroziouz has already stated, this looks great, and I also give my support for this mod. My team has dissolved, and no members really kept contact with eachother after the whole "hacker" incident (thanks to one GruntTheDivine), but I am happy to help you out with any builds you might need (randomly spawning structures, etc. I will also be willing to help organise, create posts, advertise, give ideas, etc. I really like the look of this mod, and hope it continues to grow and prosper, but ultimately I wish it better luck than my modding team.

I worked with the devs of this mod for a while, and so by the last post before the last few days, this mod has dropped development. Neither the Mod creator nor the person continuing it have both stopped posting, so I think it's safe to say that this idea has been scrapped. if someone would like to continue with this idea, then by all means have at it. I would love for this to end up being completed.
As I said the post before yours, nobody is working on this currently. There are no coders, no moderlers, no animators. If you would like to start up the idea of this mod again, by all means, start it up again. I would love to try and model for this again, but unless there's some progress, I don't think we'll get very far.

I'm getting started right now. I'll start with blocks and items, so I would need someone good with textures. Can you do that? If not, know someone who could?
There's not really a team made currently, so you would basically be becoming the head coder and creating the team. I believe I had some basic texturing that I was doing for the Nutcracker, as well as the models for all current mobs, but they're hidden somewhere on my other computer. I'll have to dig around for them at some point.
To post the image you have to first upload it to a website like imgur. Take the bbcode, and then put it in between img and /img. Make sure both of them are in brackets [ ] Example:

I really love this mod idea. I never worked on a mod this big but, as Zeroziouz would say: "YOLO"
I think that as soon as I get the new dimension working, I'll be creating a new thread, so I get to be the op and to change the main post to post information and beta downloads there.
For now, I'll be working on this order:
First: Get the blocks and items to work, with nothing like changing textures in the night or something
Second: Create the new dimension
Third: Get those time based events to happen
Fourth: Code the mobs
5th: Remove any bugs, debug things, clean the code and some other random performance issues solved that may appear along the away.

For now, I only need the textures for the blocks and items. I'll post a list of blocks and items I need and some desc of them so you've got something to work on.

Got to work on this:
-Duskfade blocks
-Dawnfade blocks
-Timefade blocks (I just had this idea where the blocks would be one color by day and some other color by night. Probably with a texture close to dawn/duskfade blocks)
-Dusk/Dawnfade wood and all wood objects, like stairs and slabs
-Dusk/Dawnfade chests
That is all for now, latter I'll create the dimension, and it's biome and generation, which will be the hardest part of the mod, I belive.

Sounds like some nice progress! The only thing that worries me about this mod is the amount of processing power it's going to take, being that it has to regenerate the entire world basically when it becomes day or night.
