So... NausicaaMod... erm, yes... very Developmenty.... but still, it has begun, and needs a mod page. I, Skyapter, am the designer and head of the team, and I need help! I have plenty of Ideas, But I need code, and at the rate minecraft is updating...
Anyway, feel free to post Ideas, suggustions, spelling corrections, and codes, but PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR THE RELEASE DATE.NausicaaMod is obviously based off of the film Nausicaa_of_the_Valley_of_the_Wind, and will focus on the Toxic Jungle Biome, at least for now.
1/1/13: The coding has begun: WIP status is official.Also, some pretty neat textures are complete.
1/3/13: Progress has quickened as a new programmer has joined our team. Some of the current Block and Item Textures can be seen on our new wiki, and we will update these as we go: http://nausicaamod.wikia.com/
Okay, development has actually started now.
When the mod is at a usable state(ie. all textures and crafting works), I will post the zip to the wiki.
Also, I'm not just a random person, I know Phoenixguy.
I will be updating the wiki as regularly as possible
Will you be adding a process to create the god warriors? like you have to build the womb for it, supply it with power and build a few more machines wired to the womb?
I think I'm going to make it more like the manga than the movie since the manga has more of it active(and some other reasons).
I will be adding a process, but I don't know how it will be done yet. I might make them a very rare worldgen underground, (as in the manga) and have the core jem thingy be in dungeons or craftible(you might have to repair some parts of it with iron blocks or something, and it would be a TON of resources if you don't want to use it). It will definitely take a long time to do god warrior stuff(ai, player control, its attacks and abilities, etc).

Hey just wondering do you guys have the mask that protect you from the poison of the jungle, and if not you could maybe put in an extra slot for it.
I have not made the mask yet(but it won't be hard to do)
in the future I will make a tinkers-like inventory tab for a few items<----that won't be easy at all
Items being things like the glider and bags, and maybe a few other things
Currently the ceramic helmet functions as a mask, but I plan on adding a mask soon(although it will still take up an armor slot for a while)

hmmmm yes some of my friends have been having trouble with it, although its always worked fine for me
can you run any other version of the modpack?
I think it has something to do with the version of java. it works fine for me on linux using
"Java is OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM, version 1.7.0_51, running on Linux:amd64:3.11.0-19-generic"
its the openjdk, but legit should work just as well
try useing the .jar instead of .exe, and send me the the error log and ill see what I can do.
you could also try moving the mod files(including nei and waila) into the normal .minecraft/mods folder after installing forge
If you send the error log (should be in a folder called "crash-logs" or something) I will do everything I can with limited time to help
EDIT: I downloaded java from oracle and it does still work... so I still don't know what the problem is
