Using GotoLink's version, having some trouble getting NPCs to do anything. They just get a porkchop icon and hang out by the town hall, ignoring the crop farm I have set up. I have food placed there but they don't seem to take it. I've tried providing several kind of food and changing the upkeep point to a chest of food without any luck.
The crop farm seems to be set up correctly as I can work it manually with the hammer successfully.
I found the same thing...it is pretty glitchy. I had better luck with placing chests and making that the resupply point. Generally took several attempts at clearing and resetting the supply point. Could never determine what caused it to start working or why it didn't work initially. I typically used AW 'rations' and not just 'food' items...I have no idea if that matters. I do know that (unless it has been fixed) the mushroom farm does not work at all. I ended up removing the mod. I loved the concept of the automated farms/mines but it just had too many issues.

Is there a way to turn off the NPCs? I want to make RP modded server,but if i have the NPCs they'll mess up with the whole idea, but i like the other things like the weapons, the castle doors... The server won't be public(and i think the modpack may not even be in a modpack launcher)
Well you could kill them /: but that would also mean removing all the npcs. So I would start by adding the gamerule command DMobspawning false and then work from there but other than that you should let someone else answer this
I think people have waited enough for a new release, so here goes: CORE
Modules (require core): automation npc structure
Changes include, but are not limited to:
-Split into independent modules
-Bugfixes (keybind detection, block placement, block interaction, structure scanning...)
-Expanded farms and npc for modded blocks and items
-Recipe configuration
-More Npc faction configuration
Note:
Installing all modules will give you all the content from the previous release.
It should be totally compatible, though you are reminded to make back-ups before updating and report any issues related to old worlds.
If it is not obvious enough, this is a release for Minecraft 1.7.10. Not 1.8.
Not Enough Keys is a client-side mod that lets players use [Alt], [Shift] and [Ctrl] in addition to other keys when creating custom keybinds. This is AMAZINGLY helpful when you're running a lot of mods and have run out of keys on your keyboard for all the keybinds from each mod.
However, NEK only works with mods that have added support for NEK.
Thanks so much for the info! I got maybe a little too excited when I saw that killer vamp castle! The dungeon mods that are out there are great, but some truly epic castles to tackle, is exactly what I have been looking for! Can't wait to sink my fangs into this one!
Wait so i'm confused! Where are the weapons like catapults, ballista, etc?!? I downloaded the recent version of Ancient Warfare 2 but there was none of it. I don't know should I delete the ancient warfare config and then it will reload the files?!? Help!
Please read OP, its states quite clearly that the 1.7.10 version does not have the Siege Weapons yet, and are pending update. I can see that you are new, and please don't take this the wrong way, ALWAYS READ THE ORIGINAL POST(OP)

Actually, he's just a very busy guy - I don't know if you know, but he has worked on updating two dozen or more mods to more current versions of Minecraft. Even though they were not originally of his making, that's a LOT of work, and a mod like AW has a lot going on that needs work.
So just be patient - he will respond to you when he has time, if not directly then probably by posting for everyone how to resolve the issue you mentioned.
I'm using it in conjunction with CustomNPC and using the coins it includes as the currency.

Reverted back to v2.4.83 from 2.4.92 Beta and NPCs are working now.
