Added a bug fix version v0.5.1. The fixes are as follows:
* Fixed a bug causing vent dividers to generate where they shouldn't
* Fixed exploit in the physics engine allowing to pickup blocks which should not be obtainable. Ores that are subject to physics will now break without dropping its ore.
* Made glass stronger
+ Blocks that break due to physics play their respective sound
+ Any block attached to glowstone in any direction will never fall
* Allowed shaft tunnels to generate slightly closer to the surface
Their is another bug that seems to occasionally generate twice the amount of tunnnels in a shaft (or the village is spawning two shafts in the exact same spot) but I cannot find its cause. In the mean time enjoy finding the excessivly large tunnels.
Trust me a love the work and I watch all replies on my email and when needed, like this, I post. ���� Hey if not added could you consider adding TNT destroys half of the blocks and the rest go flying and certain blocks fly less or not at all and so just instantly.
Actually I have that done already but as I posted ealier there is a small bug causing the debis to not turn back into blocks. The the code is actually in the current version but I left it dormant until I can fix that bug.
Yes and also delete META-INF. It currently isn't officially compatible with any mods (remember it's in beta). Make sure your using the right version for you client version.
Should probably start working on this mod again soon. Could have another crack at some physics upgrades.
Out of curiosity, has anyone actually found a village mineshaft. I haven't heard any feed back so I'm still not sure if you guys like the look of them and whether or not the generate as expected. Screenshots and or world seed would be nice too.

After trying a few times I've decided to skip the extra physics for blocks such as piston launching, block collisions and things like that. The main reason for that is because I cannot get the blocks to return to normal after being moved mid air. Frankly it wouldn't have contributed to the outcome I'm trying to achieve with this mod which is to make 'mining' more dangerous/interesting.
In case any of you are wondering, work has restarted on this mod. I am going to continue some other additions to the system such as tweeks to minecarts and adding more mining structures for you to find and explore.
If you haven't been following my tweets, the mod will have to be delayed for a number of days due to flood damage . Cleanup will take a while but work on the mod will resume as soon as possible. Thanks for your consideration.
Still dont have the passion to continue updating the mod. Been tied up with school and this isnt on my priority list of things to do because of how little people use it. I know it's still a WIP but without you guys Im the only bug tester which results in slow and buggy development and lack of community input on features. Work may continue in months to come but I cant guarantee anything

It's a standalone mod at the moment so you just copy the .class files into a clean minecraft.jar
I think the current version of the mod is a little buggy with some of the main features so I don't expect it to work but you are welcome to try. Try some of the other versions if the newest one doesn't work. If you REALLY want an updated and fixed version I can do one after I finish updating my other one.
In case there are still people wondering what is happening to this mod project, I'm migrating it over to a new mod that a friend of mine is creating with my help called EnviroMine. Keep an eye out for it as it has MUCH more to play with than just the few features included here. It is being created under the forge environment and includes:

> Wind
> Maybe some other things too (its still a work in progress after all)

While playing with a new velocity amplifier for explosions I accidentally did this with a tnt cannon (look at the Y coordinate):

EDIT: Also found a very obvious glitch with torches. They turn into cobblestone posts when lit. How has no one noticed?
