Something for the second update: pressurized XyCraft tanks. Require XyCraft plate hardness or better for edges and corners and include glass viewer for faces, adjusting hardness to match plate. Then add a special harder valve for access. That should double the capacity per interior block.
BTW, Thermal Expansion is actually out and in DIrewolf20's Season 6. XyCraft is the last domino before I'm ready to go to 1.6 myself.
he isnt being rude. he is asking a valid question. Its been a year since the 1.4.7 release.
How is asking whats going on after a year of waiting called 'rushing'?
Soaryn said that he was going to release when 1.6 came out. 1.6 has come and gone and were headed towards 1.8 now.
people asking whats happening and comparing the events to Eloram isnt being rude, it's making a valid observation.
What if this mod was broken up into modules like some other mods are doing.
- Create a Core module that has the basics of the mod in it
- Create a Blocks module that has the Tanks and Glowy blocks in it
- Create a Power module that has the new power system in it
Each module could be updated independently, so if the power module isn't ready yet, Core and Blocks could still be updated and used.
My Favorite Texture Pack is OVO's Rustic Pack:
I agree in that, especially because the RedPower topic has been closed because the last version was from 1.4.7 and we didn't get any updates. And the fact that this topic is insanely active wont lessen my concerns either... (Also Eloram probably stopped modding because she's working on her own project now, which shall be Minecraft + RedPower).
Everyone always says that we're living in a wonderful time. And then I have to watch as 2.5 of my 6 favorite mods vanish.
Some of the most awesome things in RedPower are completely missing in Project: RED.
Examples: 1. I prefer the RedPower tube network above the one in Project:RED by such a large amount that I completely removed the module. Also its basically just LogisticPipes.
2. There is not in any way any kind of Blutricity or Machines which use or produce it. Like FRAMES

Thank you for your time I'll check back tomorrow to clear any more confusion up if need be.

Anyway, I liked Xycraft while it was around, and I am patiently waiting for the mod to be done... but maybe you should have left this thread locked till it is.

I like to think people can be mature and handle news appropriately. Another point to the thread is to allow suggestions to be presented for new content. I do see the messages I just don't log in that often.
BTW are you still adding in your own powersuit/armor system to Xycraft?

I'd like that as well, but there's the problem that enough players out there don't understand, even with a description in all caps and 50+ fontsize, what a "developer's build" is and will complain about Soaryn releasing a buggy mod.
I've seen game developers quit doing stuff like that because there are so many complainers that don't know how to read something fully.
Besides, this mod only became truly worthwhile when I used the custom ore generation mod to move those overabundant, garish ores to the nether. The fabricator is the only reason I bothered. Now that thing is useful. Doesnt justify the addition of SIX new ores though.
The issue isn't comparing it to another mod. Feel free to do that... just not here. Discussing RedPower for many posts in a row is not on-topic to Xycraft, whether or not you feel that they have shared a similar developmental cycle.
Attempting to release developmental builds to users is problematic at the least, catastrophic at the worst. As Drawde2 said, not all users will understand that its a development build. What if there's a bug that eats worlds? While yes, it wouldn't be the developers fault, because it IS a dev build, there would still, undoubtedly, be people who lost proper worlds rather than just test/newly created worlds.
No, you are not all "spoiled children"; however, maintaining 3 different sources of the exact same information is highly unintuitive and popularity has nothing do to with it. Personally I find the text editor here a pain to deal with for NEW information to format nicely. I could just use a paragraph form, but as we mentioned before: Many people don't like reading. We will have a website up soon that will handle not only XyCraft, but my other projects as well so you won't have to go to twitch or twitter (though I don't see how hard it is to go to them.)
The over abundance of ore has been fixed and the method of gunning them have changed. Fabricators are definitely still in, but we have a few Multi-Blocks as well as the power-net for the next version.
Being 35, 25,10, 72, I don't care; age is not a credibility form factor here. If you don't find the mod useful and only wish to complain further, find a different forum to utilize. I'm sure the Moderators would appreciate it.
I don't know about your sites, but in my experience with other sites you have to look around through information that has nothing to do what you were looking for. If I'm looking for information about a specific mod I don't care about the several posts about the author's problems with the coding. And I don't want to read through them all so I don't miss the one line about the mod hidden somewhere within them.
That's why I personally prefer a news section. So I can read "option dropped because it can't be reasonably coded" (for example) without wading through pages of information about the author's personal life.
