This error was on the computer that was connecting. I will tell you what happened. I opened a LAN from my computer and from my other computer tried to enter that LAN server but it crashed.
I am working on fixing this issue, but currently the mod is SSP, some features may run if you use the mod on the host computer, but not the client computers. It will currently crash if you try to run it on a client that is connecting to a server, even a game hosted on another computer using LAN. As I get the SMP issues dealt with, sever and LAN will work about the same.
I was using your mod and for some reason the gravity fall for gravel seems to not work right, no matter what I set it to gravel doesn't drop. I am using version 0.82 and the other mods I am running are Treecapitator, Rei Minimap, Thaumcraft 3, NEI, and forge. The only thing the setting does is toggle a flicker effect on the gravel block when gravity fall is turned on.
Edit 1:
After doing a test and shutting off everything except the essentials for this mod, the problem still persists and another thing I noticed is that shovels, all shovels, seem to take the same amount of time as the fist to break through dirt, gravel, and sand. The only exception is grassy dirt, which breaks quickly with the use of shovels.
I also noticed that your mod disables the pop-up item names that were added into the game as well, can you add an option to restore this feature?
The gravity not working I am not sure about, I will have to check that particular set of mods to see if there is an issue, or if it is just a lag issue. One of the joys of an integrated server, lag in single player.
Working on the pop-up name issue, I forgot to update the HUD to include it.
The shovel issue is an odd way Minecraft deals with things, I am working on fixing it. I never would have found this, I rarely make shovels.
I'm having the same issue. Love the mod, but the gravel and shovels thing is a bit frustrating. Btw, diamond drill from IC2 does not work neither with dirt/gravel/sand.
Hope it's easy to fix because it's an awesome mod.
Cheers
I am working on the shovel issue, I am not sure if that will fix the drill issue or not, there may be no good way to fix that, I will have to see once I have shovels working right.
So far I haven't seen any more conflicts with other mods, which is absolutely awesome! One thing I would like to ask, since I thought I'd try using it again, is this mod usable with the Yogbox modpack/ Technic Launcher? I know that Technic has a bad rap on here, and I'm personally not all that bothered by the Technic side, but I do want to use Yogbox at least some of the time, since it has a lot of the mods I haven't been able to get working on my own. The problem is that I have no idea how I'd need to install it
I would guess it would have an issue with Yogbox, since Yogbox includes a mod that updates the HUD and this mod also modifies the HUD, so that will be an issue unless/until I make a version without the HUD updates.

I GUESS that if the block behaves itself, the drill should work just fine since the problem seems to be from the dirt and not the tool.
I made a bridge out of gravel and left it there to see if it'd drop at any time, but it didn't. Sand works fine though. I also tried the mod by itself and the problem persists, just in case this helps.
Oh and one question. Is there any way to activate hunger on peacefull with this mod? I don't usually play with mobs, just like to shill and build, but it makes farming pretty useless.
Actually it's the tools that are a bit screwed, in the Minecraft code the tools keep a list of the types of blocks they work on, versus the blocks specifying which tools work on them, and the tools don't keep the list by block ID, but by the actual block class.
Odd since gravel and sand use the same code, but will check it.
It won't currently enable hunger on peaceful, but you can play on easy or higher and just disable hostile mobs, which is basically the same thing.

I came here from Badprenup's World Gen Sliders thread. So looking forward to trying out this mod! I'm all over customization, and this sounds perfect for me. Does it still work well with Optifine? I need Optifine to run my favorite texture pack.
This is a very cool mod.I have never seen anything like this.it's perfect now i can create my game the way i like.I like the Idead of turning off the hostile mobs but still have the hunger so food has a purpose.something I can suggest. Is there a way to add thirst as an option so not only do you have to eat but also have to drink. And it doesn't seem like you have very many views.Could you move it to the mods section of the forums so maybe it gets more attention? If you think it's been tested enough.
I want to start by saying this is a great mod! I wanted to give you a little feedback on my vote about if this mod is ready for 1.0. The only thing that I think stops it from being ready is the shovel issue. Other than that I have no complaints.
Awesome mod! Do you think you could add a config file that generates with the mod so we could change the values for a server? Right now we kind of have to use this mod only with singleplayer LAN.
Part of updating this mod to work on servers and fully on LAN is updating MOAPI, which I am in the process of doing. The mod does actually save it's config options to disk files, but I am going to move world specific options to save in the world save folder so they can be moved or deleted with the world. The next version of MOAPI will have a server side, so options would be able to be set on the stand alone server.
I will have to use Forge for the server version, but I am going to add a poll option to see how many want the client/LAN version to continue to work on ModLoader.
I am also working on modifying how I update the HUD so that this mod will not crash when someone else tries to modify the HUD as well.

The recipe for the flint hatchet does not appear to be working. I also have the aforementioned bugs (gravel not dropping, shovels borked). Otherwise, good stuff!
Edit: it's also not playing nicely with CJB Mods Rebirth, specifically the Cave View in his X-Ray mod.
UPDATE THIS MOD! It is wonderful and amazing and find it to be very helpful! is a mod commercial made by me to help spread the delicious jam that is this mod!
Updated to 1.5, hopefully without too many new bugs.
A lot of the new features I am working on have not yet made it into the mod, this is a bug fix and update of the prior version. Hopefully the falling sand/gravel issue is gone, and the shovels should work well now.

Hello,
I'm a relative newbie to Minecraft, but used to mods in other games. I'm currently running FTB Ultimate version 1.0.1 for Minecraft 1.4.7.
I've tried the following mod installs using FTB launcher and I can't get started up.
First I tried the latest versions of both MOAPI (1.5.1) and MMW (0.84). The program wouldn't start up and the log file was a sea of red.
Second, under the theory that I needed to run ones that matched Minecraft 1.4.7, I tried: MOAPI (Client (1.4.6) version) and MMW (1.4.6-0.82). This fared better, I was able to set my options, but then I received an error when I tried to load my existing world and had to hard kill the program.
Now, before I provide the various logs and potentially waste your/my time, am I just trying to do something that is impossible; to wit - running MMW with FTB Ultimate?
If it is possible, should I be mucking about with the latest versions of MOAPI and MMW, or was I on the right track working with ones for 1.4.7 Minecraft?
Yes, you have to use the versions that match the Minecraft version, so you were right to use the 1.4.6 versions (1.4.7 was compatible with 1.4.6). However FTB is a bunch of different mods and will conflict with a number of other mods, I think the issue with FTB may be the HUD updates. I have removed the HUD update from the 1.5 versions of the mod, however until FTB is updated that won't help you. I plan to release the HUD update as an add-on for those that want it.
So, long and short of it is that they most likely will not be compatible for the older version. But perhaps the 1.5 versions will be.

Thanks for the fast reply! I'll check back then when FTB is updated and give this another go.
While attempting to reinstall this for 1.5, I realized the texture pack button is now in the place where minecraft my way used to be. Where is the the new button at? I'm not sure if I installed it incorrectly or simply cannot find the button.
