Why is this mod not being released to everyone? I feel with many more people testing than the mod will be improved with lots of feedback. Just curious as to why its not released. I really want to play with this mod soon. No Halo mod currently out is that good.

well you don't halve to make a block act like a shield you just need to set a high armor and put a display on the hud to notify you

Right now it is not released to anyone. It is being released to the testers first, then the general public for an alpha test.
diamond blocks!? Hell No!
And why not? Shouldn't it be expensive to make a block that is a lot stronger than obsidian?

If by first look you mean pictures, then the same as everyone else. Testers will get the mod as soon as it is finished.

Was one of the collaborators who worked with LEGO on the original Minecraft set.
i know but you don't need to necessarily make a block that is a shield you just need to add a shimmer texture and set command that when you have <set_number> armor you see the shimmer and when the armor rating is below set number you take off shimmer affect
note. i don't know much about coding but i know a llitle

also you should try to implement jump infantry and jet packs if you can and/or a modification to the guns or armor such assa battery amp to the shield or an optic for a better sight or what not

i am full of ideas to day but you could implement a armor class system so say you have odst armor you divide it into 3 sub-classes that have different attributes (such as a scout:that has extra inventory but has weaker armor, a trooper that has increased ammo capacity but adds some sorta de-buff (couldn't think of one at the time and a siege armor that allows you to become supper armored but makes you stationary) so the player fells like he has more of a choice than the standard old leather to steel to gold to diamond and what i am trying to say is to not make those things go to just the entire armor i mean do it to each tier but make it get better and better with each tier
i say minimal affect like a 2-6 block diameter blast
If I remember correctly, the frag gernade has a leathal radius of 2-3 meters, and an effective radius of about six meters, so that would be fairly acurate

Will there be fall damage?
Will the Magnum Pistol have 2x zoom?
Should grenades/rockets/etc have no effect on the terrain?
minecraft already has fall damage

Woot!!!
-Fall damage will be disabled when wearing Spartan armor
-Hopefully all guns that have zoom will have it in the mod
-A small effect, yes.
I'll try to implement that in a future update.
I'm not too happy with the glass, grey, and white Covenant metal. Expect updates for them.

Right now all that we really need is texturers and modelers, if you want to do either of those. You can also be a builder if you like.
