Though to be fair, you say that every time there is a big game update and everyone is busy playing and talking about the new release instead of on-going projects...
And also; I don't see anything in this thread ever having much to do with the progress of the mod other than it being bumped by some of us so that more people will see it and perchance be interested once it is released. The determinant of progress for this mod is fr0stbyte124 continuing to work on it and others continuing to build models. The chit-chat in between gives people something to do until there is something to do.
But if you'd rather the thread never be bumped during the lulls in activity like when you bumped a thread a dozen times in a row to reach a certain post count then you shall have it your way.

But I am still quite active on this project, moreso than I think I probably ought to be. The new graphics engine, particularly, is coming along nicely, and I'll be sharing that soon.

Sounds more like he's trying to single-handedly recreate X3Terran Conflict, though at his pace it would take 20 years to do, it's massive. And X3 is now DRM Free, so long as you get it at GamersGate.
