Poll: The name of that mod should be different from Ships&Boats and Ph
We have agreed with Eagle_Orion, creator of PhysicsCraft, and Shereis, to join forces to make a mod featuring physics from PhysicsCraft and also the rendering and block interaction facilities of Ships&Boats.
Great freakin idea. you use pistons to dock your boat or connect other boats together, and when you want to disconnect, just flip a lever
has anyone tried having a small pool of water in a boat, with another "boat" in it which was just 2 block, with a cannon and a seat on one, so you could have a gun turret
UPDATE: Much to my discontent, this doesnt work. and a word of warning, do NOT use with Mine and Blade Battlegear, because the button to get out of the chair is the same one to switch your wapons, guess which one works
why does this mod have canon balls when you could just blast tnt out of the cannon?
Two reasons: to make it a little harder to craft something you can fire from the cannon, and because it makes more sense to me to fire a cannonball than just a box of dinamite
Anyway, firing any stuff from the cannon is on my TODO list.

and @Jimmy it never occured to to use pistons actually, mainly cuz i literally never used them (aside from the cmpatablity vid recently) i understand their workings and concept nut when ever the answer is piston related, im the last to figure it out
why dnt ya just make an altered form of a TnT cannon for that? with simpley replacing the TnT "bullet" with a nuke one? besides u'll need the extra distance when nukes are involved (i know, ive tried XD)
btw another bug, really annoying, in the coontrol seat in creative and maybe survival u can destroy seat and get stuck in control mode,
and when ur ship is sinking... your also stuck in control mode untill it hits the sea bed, sucks if uve got an airship at 200 blocks high

actually you can get more than 25 because i have had just a little over 25 before it started crashing i wanted to test it because my friend said after 17 mods it would start to crash =P
I noticed that with bigger ships, it can get really hard to see when the front is going to slam into something, so i tried it with the CCTV mod with the camera in the front and and a monitor in the cabin, unfortunately, this does not work because it does not make the monitor a part of the boat
I sincerely love this mod. Making and sailing ships is essentially all I do in minecraft I love it so much. The only thing is that I really wish you could break lilypads with the ships. Are there any easy fixes for that?

I have a problem... I did all that it said in the instructions... I opened minecraft.jar with winrar and deleted metainf or w/e its called... and drag in dropped forge and then boatsnstuff... but when I try to play... like Make a new creative world to test out if it works it crashes...
idk what I'm doing wrong... :'(

A very drastical way is just use MCedit and delete all pads from your world... they are pretty useless.

Were you meaning this as I could set a filter or such and delete them all? Because upon examination the only way I could see was to delete them all one by one.

Speaking of Balkon's Weapons mod, has it occured to anyone wanting the actual rotating cannon turret to use the Balkon cannon?
It doesnt have quite good enough range to be used effectively, also, i dont think that the ship would recognize it
i tried it last night, the ship recongnizes it, but it does kinda move out place a bit (like at max speed about 1/3 of it will be on another block) but other wise it seems to work effectivly, i wonder if there's a config so we can increase the range for it Edit: never mind XD the cannon basically tags along for the ride, u can push it out of place easily
I recently tried to use the mod whit AMCO modpack. The minecraft starts up I select singleplayer,then world.It loads it and before I can see anything it crashes and gives out the following error log.
I didn't use any mod thats on the non compatible list. Maybe somebody could figure out from this.
Also I only changed the block id-s to fix slot errors.

Please make sure you are installing Ships&Boats last. If so and the error persists, you should remove any mod that is overwriting vx.class
