hey love your mod but inconterd a few bugs that idk if you know about them but here are the ones i ran into 1: i was flyin my ship and suddenly the controller disapeares but the hit box is still there and my ship stopped so i reloaded world fell out of the sky and my ship my chests everything was gone 2: the shipp keeps pushing me off the ship even tho im inside a room of the ship. 3: i used a 1.0 ship didnt load up update till ur mod was updated and tryed to use old ship and there was a crater with water at the bottom were the ship once was.
I've really showed all there is!....it's not that large of a ship. :smile.gif: It was the first one I built, without the knowledge I could change the 'block limit', so it was kept fairly small. It ended up being about 1003 blocks or so.
Newer ships I'm designing are much bigger, but haven't found a more comfortable design than my homely Starwind. ;P.
I've REALLY been toying with doing a 'Let's Play' centered around building and exploring with such an airship, but I A.) Lack a decent Microphone B.) Lack Enough Privacy to Bother Recording Regularly. C.) Don't really have all that great a speaking voice or tone. ;P.
Forge support is extremely complicated for this mod. If you notice, forge blocks do not look proper when on a Zeppelin. In order for it to work, I have to rewrite the rendering stuff entirely and I don't plan to do it to save 4 sprites.
So, no hope for the blocks from other mods changing texture when on a craft either, for the near future? Bummer. Also, does this have anything to do with chunks resetting the next time the chunk is reloaded when some forge mod blocks are on the craft when it's activated? (I hope that sentence made sense)
I can see why you'd want to take care of other stuff in this mod first, though.
so this mod is badass, but i made a huge airship with 2034 blocks, it has beds and ladders, so i changed the config to allow those, and i made the max blocks allowed 2500. but then i link the airship, it becomes "light up" (you know what im talking about) but it wont move.

You probably have a 'disallowed' block as part of your ship.
Also, make sure you have Num Lock on, and use the Numpad to steer the ship.
I tried placing BC pipe on the craft. I got this error:

Never mind. In 1.0 I was experimenting with RP and tried to add a new machine. I forgot about it and loaded that world in 1.1. And a chunk with that block loaded when I activated controller.
OK, I'm probably being noobish, so i apologize in advance. This is my first time with this mod, and i can only get my craft to spin, i can;t get it to move up/down/forward/back.
I am pressing the right controls (Numpad +/- & 8/2). I Checked my options text files to make sure they were correct, and indeed they are.
I did skim this thread to see if anyone had a similar problem, but i haven't seen anything.
Only mods are TMI and MCPatcher.
Thanks,
EDIT: I have found some other people with similar problems, but no answer, so here is some clarification:
I have tried it with a 3*3 grid.
I have tried it with the controller floating in air
I have check text file to make sure controls are correct
I have looked in-ingame options to make sure controls are correct (and even tried re-doing them)
And yes, numlock is on...
Are you using Materials that can be properly a ship, and or sure you didn't add 'natural' materials to the list? If your entire ship fuses to the dirt, for example....it isn't going anywhere because it's tying to lift up an entire world. ;P.
Secondly, are you using a proper keyboard Numpad or is it a laptop 'fakey' one?
Hey I am wonderigng if you have actually started work on SMP. I am anxiously awaiting to have this amazing mod on my server and Can't wait till it is ready. Don't feel rushed I'm just curious how much progress you are making in that respect

He is working on it right now. The only thing we know about SMP-progress is that currently, there is a bug where every time someone asks of it, he feels a compulsion to play minecraft for an hour instead of mod Zeppelin.

No.
Maybe he's waiting for a few pages to not talk about smp and he will release it hahaha
First of all, this mod is really good. The lastest release is my first time using it. I have had two bugs so far, the falling off bug which seems to be normal in the beta. The second is my ship will just disappear and I can't find it. Is it gone or somewhere else in the world?
Lastly, I have just fallen off my ship just being stupid, a nice feature would be a "dead man" switch or detection feature. Where the craft detects that the player isn't on it and stops all motion. Anyways, thanks for the hard work this mod is a really nice addition to the game.
