Just a point of curiosity are the zeppelins still disappearing for anyone else? I noted that it was fixed two patches ago. Just wanted to confirm it was just my ships that did this.

I got a message when I tried to use an aircraft controller in creative saying that there was an rp.class failure. I put rp.class in Minecraft.jar and mod-zepplin-client-1 into my mods folder. Bet I did something wrong there. Please help.
I must say, I only had a go at minecraft on my brother's account, and I found it rather boring (just in my opinion). However since installing your mod, I've become hooked!
I guess it's because it gives you something to work towards so that you can explore the land; and there's nothing more cosy than an airship laden with supplies soaring through the skies at sunset while creepers watch on in awe.
I've found the best thing to do is find a good seed, preferably a survival island one, then work on building your airship and self-sustaining yourself. It's a great feeling taking off in it after you've been slogging through caves looking for iron (or in the case of survival island, just finding iron anywhere!).
I've made quite a lot of airships, some with farms on, some holding animals, but I've found the most fun is having a small ship and then making a base and a dock at your spawn point (so compass points to it).
Anyway, I wanted to report a few strange bugs I've had. One is where the ship just stops moving even if I press forward, and I have to turn it off/on again. This usually makes the controller block go buggy as well, so i've found it's good practice to use a lever.
Also, sticky pistons don't usually work and make the block its moving disappear once the ship rejoins the world (I made sure the controller block was lower than piston).
Finally, the strangest bug I've encountered is a duplicate ship is spawned. You can interact with it in the same way as normal. I've no idea how to recreate it as it happens at strange times (once a duplicate spawned in mid air above my already docked ship), however it is thankfully a rare occasion.
If I could add my two cents about improving it, it would be great if you made it more difficult to craft, not just the controller block itself, but other components such as engines with fuel(more engines equals more speed), and an anti-gravity core (possibly made of a new material or a combination of rare materials). Obviously I understand this would be something to add once all the bugs are ironed out.
All in all this is an incredible mod and is the reason I play minecraft at all. I can't wait for the new version; I've already made a dock and airship in the village on the seed "gimmeabreak"!

Hey this is for Blackmajik only. I would like to offer you a cahnce to join my server. Hello, have you ensured the craft controller has been activated? You may have not bashed it hard enough. If you are quite sure it is on, (should give you some dialogue in the bottom left corner) have you ensured it is made out of the prober substances? I do believe that stone and dirt are turned off by default. I hope this mod works for you, it is simply spiffing.
Regarding the poll, I would prefer if this mod is avail on SMP i don't care about submarines, elevators, etc...
If this mod is available on SMP then you can take all of my money.
Here some ideas for this mod (don't know if it's already posted - hard to read all 317 pages):
1) Side-strafe for crafts - may be very usefull when docking.
2) Engines that can be placed like pistons (diferent directions). When craft is registering engines defines it's movement abilities: if there is at least one engine facing back then craft can move forward (and slow backward), if there is at least one engine facing down then craft can move up (and slow down). Also speed of craft depends on count of engines, weight of craft and type of engines (wood, iron, diamond).
3) Multiblock structure of controller and engines.
you should totally rebuild the zeppelin mod with all the stuff youve learnt along the way with SMP in mind from the very start so instead of having to convert everything in it already to smp you will just haveto make it SMP compatible starting with 1 feature at a time :biggrin.gif:
or a totally seperate, more basic zeppelin mod that only works on smp

BTW what you're proposing is a huge amount of work (essentially he'd be redoing all the work he's spent 4 months or so doing); this isn't something to propose casually.
From what it sounds like, what he's already got working for SMP is a fine enough start for this particular mod.

Yes I'm working on it, but it's going very slow. It's at about the same stage as Zeppelin was in 0.4 (although some features from 0.1 are not yet added).
