But for srs. I'll pay. Send me a private message on here if you're interested, the amount of time and effort that you have already put and have yet to put into this is just too amazing to be doing it completely free.
We might have a donation button when we release, not sure if I'd like the pressure that would stem from taking donations before completing v1. Thanks, though!

No problem man, you really deserve it from the dedication you're putting forth on this project. I'd feel kind of bad playing something this expansive for free.
Hi,
since the mod does not yet have that much popularity (yet!), I will then dare to ask this question: Will this mod be compatible with the mod, TooManyItems, because that mod gives the player every item that is in the game and added by mods. I hope you do not make it compatible with that mod, and I hope that mod, TooManyItems, does not get to be compatible with this mod in the future. If it was compatible with this mod, then the player could get all keys, artifacts, the mystery and the secret thing when getting all the equipment-armor (-that may be the mystery).
And thanks for working on this mod, I look forward to this. (Finally a goal to work for)
Here, take my pig:

I don't think we'll be working towards making mods purposefully incompatible with ours.
That being said, since this mod keeps track of how many artifacts are in the world/in your possession/stolen etc,
using an inventory editor will likely break your save, and we won't care if your save is broken because of it.
That being said, it is tempting to code an anti-hack mechanism that endlessly rains creepers on people who decide to try and cheat their way through. It'd be hilarious.

As tinglingly fun to think about as it may be for you, I'm one of the people that will use some type of inventory editor to get the armors and artifacts just to see what all I can do with them before actually playing the mod as intended. I'm just that kind of guy. Btw, I'm still filled with anticipation for this mod, Skyrim, and Dark Souls. Godspeed to you and your mod crafting!

No, it's still pretty fun to think about, regardless.
You could still test them out, I guess, but you'd have to start a new world after you're done (since the mod wouldn't work properly if you already have everything) and have to deal with a stream of creepers while you're at it.
I'll be releasing a video displaying all the artifact tools and their abilities, as well, as a preview for the mod.
So, if you realy want to know the progress in %, count the and calculate it yourselfe.
No offense, but reading through diamond spam and needles questions is pretty annoying.
Orrr you could try reading his text right next to that link where it says that the spreadsheet is outdated? It wouldn't give a very accurate estimate on how complete it is unless he's updated it very recently.

THE IMAGE BELOW IS AN INCOMPLETE, OUTDATED DOCUMENT, AND DOES NOT HAVE ALL THE CORRECT INFORMATION.
Refers to the large image displaying information about the mod, not the spreadsheet.
The spreadsheet is accurate and updated regularly.

Are you going to make this like Zelda, in the essence that you need a piece of the armor/equipment to complete certain dungeons? I mean, you can make it so that one dungeon requires you to be able to breath underwater, another requires you to swim through lava. etc
Would bring a feeling of necessity to the armor and weapons you make with the artifact pieces.

Only the Final Labyrinth requires the usage of them. You can access the other labyrinths in any order, although obviously having the right pieces will make certain Labyrinths considerably easier to do.
I've actually been wondering/thinking about that Zelda-esque idea with the necessary pieces to span certain dungeons too.
The foreseeable problem being that dungeons are randomly generated so it's a much higher chance that the first dungeon you come across will require items you don't have. Better off allowing it to be conquered by any means imo.
I make the Artifact mod.
BAHAHAHAH I haven't seen that in ages!

Great mod, though.

Thieve's knife, yep.
Yep, they will break the artifact block and take it.
Yep.
The craftable spike blocks are expensive but work well!
