I am fascinated by the idea of whatever world is generated by a user, that user will have a unique writable book that that can use of a journal across different worlds.
Example:
* User creates world
* User finds unique account bound book in their inventory
* They edit it and add:
"Captain's Log, Mineworld 255887:
Spawned into another glacier biome...this is going to be rough."
* User dies or quits world
* User creates new world
* User finds unique account bound book in their inventory
* They open it and inside it contains the last entry
"Captain's Log, Mineworld 255887:
Spawned into another glacier biome...this is going to be rough."
* User edit it and add:
"Captain's Log, Mineworld 255888:
Nice, a taiga biome; I should last munch longer here. Comehere tree...."
* The book now contains
"Captain's Log, Mineworld 255887:
Spawned into another glacier biome...this is going to be rough.
Captain's Log, Mineworld 255888:
Nice, a taiga biome; I should last munch longer here. Comehere tree...."
Really cool idea...it would also be cool if you could attach screenshots and maps to the pages of the book...you have a full map of a world you can use an anvil and combine it with the book to put the map on a page...that would be a cool idea. It would allow you to keep a full log of your journeys. I really like this idea.

This sounds really cool. Additionally (if possible) you can put keepsake items in there, they aren't functional items, but basically pictures of them. Being it is a picture and not an actual item removes the worries for compatibility issues.
