hey man. im not sure how difficult this would be but i thought it would be cool if there was a mod that included pistons that reach farther like the more pistons mod but for 1.12, the other idea is more slime blocks, what i mean by that is ones that are only sticky on certain sides. examples; slime block:top,bottem. slime block: right,top etc
Configurable preferably, I'm looking to start it at a 4 chunk radius, but it's important for it to only be at night (or configurable) and only during full moon(or configurable). Any other time I'd want awareness to go back to normal
First version of mod is ready. It requires Satako. The mod itself - Increased Awareness. As requested, it increases hostile mob detection range at night on full moon and makes them see the player through blocks; reverts otherwise. You should test it against non-vanilla mobs yourself.

Ah man, that was a really cool mod IMO. Anyway, how much would you want if I asked you to make a mod for me about 100 new items for the game, plus a 100 new features? I'm browsing around and so far my target price is 1000 dollars / month, not cool. Only reason I'm willing to pay is because no one wants to do these for free anymore and I'm needing this as a one of a kind mod for 1.12.2 and 1.13 and up. if you don't take pay requests, or etc I understand. It's just about the only way to get anywhere nowadays as I can't mod, never took programming lessons and mcreator is sh*tty.
Hey this idea is pretty simple. I kinda wanted a updated version of the gullivers mod that can be compatible with 1.11.2/1.12 and also compatible with mods like LittleTiles mod. I heard these types of mods are pretty simple and easy to create.
I don't know who told you that those types of mods were pretty easy to make, but I don't think they knew what they were talking about. It's certainly not easy.
However.... if Alexiy is able to do this, then more power to ya, because last I checked, Lilliputian (basically 1.12 Gulliver mod) isn't very stable.

This function would be toggled on and off through a keybind configurable in the controls menu. Is something like this possible?

I suppose it's possible, but will be tricky to implement. One would have to cancel clicking the item frame and call block activation methods on the block behind it.
I figure this would be fairly difficult, but maybe a mod based mainly on the game The Forest? The main features would be hostile cannibal mobs, camps of them (making them like Illager Vindicators is the best option for the armed variants, unarmed ones can use the spider ai, and the special mutants like Armsy or Virginia can be mini-bosses like elder guardians in terms of health). The one thing I struggled with when trying to make a mod like this is the crafting system: i.e. adding teeth to a weapon to add damage w/o adding an enchantment effect, and (considering the new attack speed stat) adding feathers to a weapon to make it swing faster. Could this be done? Lizard skin armor could be about as good as chain and deerskin armor would be like leather, while leaf armor is worse than gold. Idk about the camouflage system, maybe halve the search radius of mobs?
