What about a mod that makes Mushroom biomes less boring and pointless? Keep them as they are with no normal mobs spawning, but give it more than just a single mob and give it some more stuff like mushroom themed hostile mobs and structures. Maybe even make them spread, slowly.

I kinda feel bad for immediately telling you that my game crashes on a lot of the spawners (all "vanilla" spawner types work though, also a few custom ones).
Thanks for the fix, the game doesn't crash anymore. But now, a alot of spawners won't show any mod inside them and do not spawn any mobs.

The issues have been fixed. Changes:
- fixed some spawners not spawning mobs;
- blacklisted some entities;
- added search bar to creative tab;
- implemented "pick block" function for spawners;
Does a "VR-Chat" mod fit your criteria? I want a mod with ugandan knunckles, ugandan queen, and every sound effect that accompanies the meme.
If you can't find a well-suited way to spawn them, then make it with eggs as if its a Role Play style mod (just spawneggs)

Hey. I've always liked the testificate mob in Minecraft and I was hoping for a long time for their presence to be expanded upon by Mojang. I feel like with the illager mobs, Mojang opened up to that idea and made a few new interesting mobs. I feel as though maybe more could be done, though.
I would very much like to see a 1.12.2 mod that adds Villager bandit groups, wandering villager traders/merchants using llamas, guard villagers (that are obviously weaker than iron golems), and villager explorers and campers in the world in a way that's similar to vanilla Minecraft.
Could you please make a mod to do that? I tried my luck a few days ago.
I failed miserably and ended up with a bunch of teleporting villagers shooting each other with arrow items in the head.

I was looking at some materials in Thaumcraft 4's various addons and found Thaumic Bases' Thauminite as an interesting concept; further refinement of Thaumium to increase it's potential. So naturally, being the crazy warped thaumaturge I am, I decided to apply the technique to Void Metal, and came up with the concept of Abyss Metal, a bluer version of Void Metal. It's a bit more durable than void metal, still auto-repairs when used for tools and armor, gives a bit more Warping when used in tools and armor, but is a bit friendlier towards magic (higher Vis discounts and better enchant-ability). I have an ingot texture already, and I'm more than happy to design the sprites for other items that may be added to this once the basic concept is in place. I'll definitely make some tweaks to the Void Tools and Void Armor for Abyss Metal, to start with; if you do decide to try this out (if you're feeling better).
And of course I'll get some wand caps drawn if you make it for TC4.

If you want to get some donations for this, a good idea would be to get a Patreon since you can have multiple donation tiers for different benefits.
But hey, that's just my two cents.
Can I suggest a very simple mod that adds multiple skins to wolves and tamed dogs. Just to add a bit of variety. And if that's easy, multiple skins for other animals and villagers? At the moment, you can change the skin, but you can't give the same type of mob a variety of skins.
Optifine supports multiple random mob textures, you can just drop a 1.12 version of it into your forge Mods folder.
Just an idea, but maybe a natural magic mod in the vein of Roots/Roots 2, since the author has given up on modding? I miss the herblore books spawning in thatch covered huts, with odd little round thatch-covered barrows spawning as well. So cool....

Changes:
- fixed server crashes;
- spawner can be toggled by signal if it has a stack of redstone dust;
If it crashes, tell me which mob type the spawner had that crashed the game.
