If at all possible, could you do an XP storage mod for 1.12? I've hunted all over the Internet, but haven't found a damn thing that suits my needs.
Basically, I want two key functions in the mod:
1. Stationary, reusable storage (such as a block or other item entity) with simple commands or functions used to extract and store the XP.
2. XP counter for the block so it tells you how much XP is in the entity and what it equals in experience level.
You don't have to do this last bit if you don't want to, but it would help if the mod included an edit to replace the traditional XP level bar in the HUD with a counter like you would see in an RPG game (current level, total XP accumulated, XP to next level).

Thanks a million for reading this!
I'm doing your request. What recipe for such block would be appropriate?
I'm thinking it would be appropriate to do this kind of recipe or something similar:
Emerald - Obsidian - Emerald
Diamond - Diamond - Diamond
Emerald - Emerald - Emerald
As an XP storage block is quite valuable considering how much XP one loses on average when they're killed or die, it shouldn't be easy to come by, hence the emeralds. Of course, since you're the one making the mod, you can change this recipe if your want.
Edit: One more thing. I think it would be cool to add the block as a rare treasure spawn in End Cities following defeating the Ender Dragon.

The mod is ready. I made a simple XP counter, too, it can be toggled in mod settings.
Teleporting XP someone tried already but he skipped to other mods. It's not i like to have. All for MC 1.10.2
I'm currently making the wand. I have a prototype ready with implemented placement function. Do you want to test it now and give feedback, or wait until more features are implemented?
I've got three things for you: a request for a mod update of one I frequently use, but is outdated, another (but very time-consuming and probably advanced) mod request, and a beginner's review of the one you already made for me. I'll start with the last.
Well, the only problem I have with the mod thus far is that you didn't add in the requested crafting recipe, which means the experience storage block can't be obtained in Survival worlds unless through console commands. Can you please fix that?
Next, I really enjoy the features of the Better Sugar Cane mod (https://mods.curse.com/mc-mods/minecraft/224415-better-sugar-cane) but it stopped being updated in 2015, and is only compatible with 1.7.10. If at all possible, could you update it so it works on 1.12?
Finally, I had an idea for a block compression system. Of course, there are quite a lot of those out there, but the few that have been updated to support 1.12 are rather lacking in the list of blocks and items that can be compressed, as well as the number of times compression can be done. Now, I'm not proposing unlimited compression or unlimited storage, seeing as how not only that would be a bit of a god-hack, but the issues of storing such massive amounts of items would, upon going to completely decompress those items, cause, to put it in layman's terms, a game crash, which would basically render the mod not worth anyone's time. I'm only thinking do maybe five to seven compression levels. To compress a block that is supported by the mod, simply place nine of it into the crafting table, and it will yield one compressed block, and repeat for the subsequent compression levels themselves until the compression limit is reached. And to get those items back in their decompressed, simply place them into the crafting table as you would a gold block or a coal block.

Thanks again for reading this, Alexiy.
I did add the recipe, it's a bit different from what you requested -

Thanks, dude. Are you going to follow up on the other two things I requested, or are those dead in the water? Just wanted to know for future reference.

If you like i can already try out the function and give you the feedback. Does it work also for machines and cables (so ALL Blocks)?
All right, you can get the prototype here. The wand seems to work on all blocks, except those that form multiblock structure (like chests). Usage:
1. right click block to place
2. right click a position for start
3. right click a position for end
Shift + right click on anything to reset the wand.

Meanwhile, I made a small update for Liquid Pipes, version 1.10.2-0.3:
+ pipe will tell what fluid it is holding on right click;
+ added ability to remove fluid in the pipe network by Shift + right click;
The mod is ready. I made a simple XP counter, too, it can be toggled in mod settings.

If you don't mind my asking, where did you post it? I can't see it on the forums.
It's in the first post of this thread.
Is the mod self-sustaining, or do I need to add the Groovy library for it to work?
For now, all these mods need this library. I'm experimenting with programming mods in Groovy, hence this dependency.

I really really really need a mod that will work on 1.12 servers
I need a mod that has the EXACT same feature as the 1.12 autocraft feature
I know that 1.12 comes with the same feature, but I really really need it for personal reasons
Please let me kow if you can make it or if it is too hard to make. Thank you so much!
But why do you want the mod for existing feature?
