No. I'm on a mac. That's the whole point of this thread.
well considering you never told us what you were using we would have a hard time figuring that out. as far as i know no mods exist for such a task for mac
it works by teleporting an item frame containing a map, each and every frame has to be teleported in. one command block each. if you wanted to make a ten second long 60 fps video you would need 600 command blocks and 600 maps each with a slightly different image. if you wanted a minute of video that is 3,600 CBs and maps, if you wanted an hour that is 216,000. and this is for one video, times that by how many you want. but that isn't even possible considering you can only have 32,767 maps total
Firstoff, 60 fps does not excist in minecraft redstone, the fastest you can go with commandblocks is 20 fps (or you'll have to install the tickrate mod)
Secondly, you do NOT have to have 1 commandblock for every itemframe, you probably need like 10-20 for a whole hour of video footage (not considering the item frames). You can easily do this with armorstands, if you teleport the armorstand in one direction constantly and you replace the item frame with the item frame that the armorstand is standing on you'll save on a lot of cmd's
Thirdly, since when is there a limit on maps?
You can also just change the texture of a block to a movie....
(go to the end for the result)
first, you are correct, 60 FPS does not exist in standard minecraft redstone, however the rules are a little different with command blocks, as of 1.9 a set of command blocks configured as a chain (chain blocks) will all execute in order in the same game tick, provided the PC can handle it. there is still a hard limit to this somewhere around 30,000 blocks a tick due to java issues, a great way to demonstrate this is take ten command blocks and set them up in a chain using the say command to say 1,2,3... on a loop, you will notice the entire chain updates every tick and you should get roughly 20 outputs a second.
second, this is an interesting method i did not consider, it would effectively reduce the command blocks needed to probably less than 150 for an hour of footage, and in fact my initial method was wrong as well, you would need two command blocks a frame, one to teleport the old painting out and another to teleport the new one in. item frames, being entities can not be cloned at the moment. a way around this would be to use block animation to play the movie but then you run into other problems involving texture memory (ram), physical memory (that is going to be a huge image) and load times. as well as you would not be able to stop or rewind the movie. (both easily done with your armor stand method)
third, there has always been a limit on map IDs, 32,767 is a limit set up to do three things, prevent player generating enormous amounts of data on servers, prevent ridiculous resource usage (hardware), and most importantly, to prevent stack overflows in Java itself (java doesn't like big numbers) there was people complaining that this wouldn't be enough at one point...
Dang it! I play on 1.7.10. I'm more aimed at a mod that uses mp4 files in the game and can switch channels which are the files. I'm not bumping.
i have been looking around for a mod, it is hard to find things for mac... you COULD however use openblocks to at least get a radio in 1.7.10, i belive it also does MP3 playback but not video

I'm not looking for a radio mod! There was a tv mod but that was 1.2.5. any other ways? I'm not bumping.
stop saying 'I'm not bumping', if you say that, I get the suspicion you ARE bumping.
Let's get on-topic. There is no tv-mod which we know of that in 1.7.x
1. Good point. I'm kinda getting sick of the "Im not bumping." that's old and it takes up post space. Though do note i'm never trying to bump. I read the rules.
2. Then how about a tutorial about how to make one? (I'll probably need an Mcreator expert to reply to this.)
Here are some questions you can answer. (I can't really describe some things that well. :P)
1: have paintings repeatedly be replaced to look like a moving picture.
2: find a mod that uses mp4 files in the game.
3: a tutorial on how to make the same thing in option 2 in mcreator.
help greatly appreciated and sorry if I sound ridiculous as said earlier in the thread.
I Will create a mod like this for you,but it will be soo hard
Good! make sure it's for 1.7.10 though. I'm not bumping.
if you are running windows this mod gives you a full in game internet browser with video playback http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/1291044-web-displays-browse-on-the-internet-in-minecraft

And how do you do that?
it involves a command block per a frame plus extra for a control circut and sound
I don't get it.

now that is freaking cool... looks fairly simple too.
Version? (I'm talking about making it. not the version you need for the map which I know is 1.8)
it would need to be 1.8 or newer, 1.7 didn't have command blocks
Nope your wrong Flanigomik Command blocks were added in 1.4.2 but with low capabilities for that to work you need 1.8+ yes!

i just went and looked it up i guess i only took note of them once they started having power
