It isn't something you learn overnight. You have to understand basic programming concepts as well as how programming works and how to understand the language. The fact that you used the word "simple" shows that you have no experience whatsoever, and that would be a huge drawback to teaching you.
Sure, adding a basic block to the game is one line of code, but you need to understand what that line of code means before you can write it. I suggest learning some basic programming, practice it for about a year or two and then look up some tutorials.
