Okay, so I've had an idea that has been sitting around for a long time now. It basically started on the idea of Millenaire. I love this mod, but after I finish up with a village or whatever I don't feel satisfied. The bread just piles up, the village stops expanding, (the random placement sometimes annoys me) and especially when the guards and the towers don't do anything. The idea behind this mod was to take these aspects, fuel the military aspect with the economic aspect of a village. The ideal vision was a strategy game in minecraft, with real structures and destruction, that was reliant on an economical input from village production. I wrote a little thing a while ago: (Disclaimer: I'm not trying to diss Millenaire. I love the mod, and @ the dev thanks a lot for creating it. I just saw an area I thought could be expanded immensely.)

Have you ever played Millenaire, but wanted a purpose for all of the buildings rather than for the awe of it? Wanted the work of many go to something more? Wanted to wage war? Well, this mod is for you.
Structures
Core- Predecessor of all other things, this structure is the heart of your fort. It contains an overview map, (more on that later) and statistics. Some structure builds.
Builder Hut- Allows builders to be trained, which are very important as the fort cannot expand without them. Contains many buildings and building upgrades.
Farm- Produces wheat for bread production
Bakery- The bakery produces bread, and without it the people will idle.
Shelter- Holds 10 people. Without sleep, (which is what a shelter provides) people will go idle. People must sleep for atleast ¼ of each Minecraft day, and can sleep longer for night skirmishes.
Barracks- Produces soldiers. Initially Grunts can only be trained.
Armory- Contains upgrades for the barrack.
Lumberman hut- Produces wood, a key resource.
Miner Hut- Produces cobble, sand, and ores.
Towers- Four large towers useful for alerting the fort of an attack. Required for placement of wall.
Battle Hall- Holds up to 30 soldiers which can be given advanced commands. Create multiple Battle halls to execute command to multiple groups of soldiers.
Local Pub- Alerts and such go on a community board here.
Embassy- Can be placed in an allied fort to allow co-operative options
I think a lot more could be added, too. This is just what I have written down. Maybe siege structures, espionage, go wild. An idea for a modder, and I could give it a shot if I knew how.

This is actually a very cool idea. I thought millenare mod needed some fighting to because that just makes the mod way better. You could have NPC villages be neutral but could be attacked.
