The following list of world types will be suggestions for kurtss's More World Types mod.
Honsetly, it'll be short, because the mod is already so perfect!
Rainbowland - A land with mountains and junk, but made COMPLETELY out of colored wool in a Rainbow-like pattern! Underground, dark grey wool would replace stone. The only ores would be Lapis Lazuli. ( There would be trees, but the leaves would be Lime wool! ) Also, if possible, NO lava! And no gravel! ( Just so you don't accidently BURN THE ENTIRE WORLD. ) You could find iron ore in formations floating above level 100. Coal would be found like iron, but it'd be above level 80 instead of 100. Diamonds would form VERY rarely above level 125 or so. Again, Lapis would be found underground.
uʍopǝpısdnworld - A good, yet at the same time, NOT so good idea! You spawn on bedrock! But, you can find holes in the bedrock... ( If you're lucky. ) You see NO trees... so you start punching stone. Or, again, if you're lucky, dirt. You're going down, and you find... diamond? Yes, that's right! This whole world is upsidedown! Or should I say... uʍopǝpısdn? Anyways, you finnaly get past 64 levels of stone, gravel, dirt, and ores to... fall past giant upside-down mountains and soup-serving-scoop-like trees? And then, the second before you fall into the skyvoid and die, you realize how beautiful everything is. And then you die. You gotta be careful with this world type; it's dangerous!
Ⓐⓣⓛⓐⓝⓣⓘⓢ - You spawn in a big glass dome with a few trees, a small building, only about 3x3x2 blocks, and water EVERYWHERE outside the glass dome, and the ground is sand. Under the sand you can find ores.
serO esreveR - Reverse ore world! Almost like the upsidedownworld, but not really. Basically, all the ores you find deeper down in a regular world are closer up in a Reverse Ore world, same goes for ores you find higher up in a regular world.
Enderlands - The End in the Overworld. The Nether in the End. The Overworld in the Nether.
Wasteland - A land, full of giant craters and, if possible, a lot of zombie spawners. Also has trees about 1-3 blocks tall without any leaves. Added.
Pumpkintopia ( Henix_Aurorus ) - Melontopia but with pumpkins.
Scatterworld ( Henix_Aurorus ) - All ores are replaced with the opposite ores. ( i.e, coal replaces diamond, and vice versa. )
A Skylands option in which it is NOT always day; that really bugs me. Also, not sure, but I don't think hostile mobs spawn in the newest skylands version either, which is bad, too.
Nice ideas, I must say. But what'd be really awesome is a world where the iron, gold, and diamond ores are replaced with their respective blocks. And then scattered all over. Floating diamond anyone?...
...all joking aside, a PumpkinTopia option would be fantastic. And if we got the Lava Ocean back that'd be even more fantastic.

Same as Melontopia, but that didn't stop him =P
I think this might help you with your problem.
