Hello, I want a mod that adds golden slimes. I already made some textures:

Added slime armor textures, and changed armor spot in the inventory to match.
You would find a 3x3 platform of endstone from levels 11 to 22 directly under your spawn point. On the center block, you would find a chest, with a golden slimeball in the middle. You would then throw it (by right-clicking) and a golden slime would spawn. It would then be your pet, and follow you around. Shift-click on it to open its inventory. Put on slime armor, crafted like this:
= Iron, diamond, gold, or leather, all have to be the same.
= slimeball
Different types will have different effects:
Leather = Hot (Catches enemies on fire, fire/lava proof)
Iron = Sharp (Hurts any enemies that it touches)
Gold = Heavy (Falls faster but takes less falling damage, water currents don't effect it, Nothing can push it around, etc)
Diamond = Cold (If an enemy touches it it can't move for 3 seconds, Lava turns to cobble, water turns to ice, fires get put out, etc)
Nothing else can go in that slot.
Right-click it to put it on your head.
Shift-right-click it to give it a level, you can only do it when you have 3 or more levels. It starts small, doing half a heart, having 3 hearts of health, and 3x3 inv. Then at 10 levels it turns medium, doing 1 heart, having 5 hearts of health, and 2x4 inv. At 25 it turns big, doing 2 hearts, having 10 hearts of health, and 3x5 inv. Finally, at 50, it gets 3x5 inv, has 15 hearts of health, and does 3 hearts of damage. If it dies, it drops everything in its inventory, its armor, and a golden slimeball, but no experience.
The part where its under you spawn might not be a good idea but you could have slimes drop them at a %5 chance might be a good idea. or maybe a slime egg instead of golden slimeball. Or maybe golden slimeball that can either be crafted into slime armour or a slime egg.

The thing is, I only want there to be 1 at a time in each world, and you can't make it randomly generate only one. well, you can, but it's really hard. so just having it under your spawn point is good because it only makes one, without being too hard to code, and you can find it easily.
You know a problem with that? Chest corruption. There is something about end portals being corrutped by dungeons on the wiki. If a dungeon or mineshaft goes right into the end portal, parts of the portal will be gone. rarly, this may happen with the chest. Its better to just start with it in your invintory. Or use my idea cause the drop rate would be low and slimes are rare anyways.

How about instead of an item it places a special chest that doesn't drop anything, but has the slimeball inside?
And what if it suffocated? If it suffocated INSIDE a block, where would the chest go?
But, i do have an idea. How about it never dies but whenever it takes too much damage, it goes to the room your talking about and just stands there with 0 health. Then you revive it with 10 slimeballs. Slimes are rare anyways.
